For the last 8 years we have had the wrong mail delivered to us and our mail has been delivered to our neighbors. This is a reoccurring event that happens at least 2 x's a month. We have lost birthday cards, we have lost tax documents. This is not acceptable. It has become so bad I have had to tell my family, that is out of state, they can no longer mail things via the USPS. I have called, emailed and it still occurs. Shame on them for not making any changes to fix this.
Our mail is getting later and later everyday. When we moved here
2 years ago, it came between 12pm and 1pm. Now it is 4pm to 5pm.
Address: 11491 Rill Pt. 80921
Can anything be done to get our mail so we can answer it the same day? Thank you. JH
I am really getting tired of the mailman not paying attention. I "was supposed to" have a package from Amazon delivered Saturday. Well, guess what, he put it in someone else's box, and I NEVER GOT IT. Where ever it went, it was kept. I can't afford to have this keep happening. Look at the address and house numbers people.....PLEASE!!!!!
Have never had a problem with the employees at this office but now I have one. Someone locally according to the help link email from the post office website has blocked my access to my informed delivery information. It will not show any information and will only tell me to "enroll". I've had this for awhile but it's not working now. It started last week, the week before was fine. I check this daily since we are a rural route and I need to know when the packages arrive. I hope this is just a glitch. Please correct this problem so I can check my account for informed delivery again. Thank you.
I received two packages today - delivered by a neighbor. The key to the parcel locker was left in the wrong mailbox. I have tried to call the Briargate Post Office several times, but after a few rings, I get a busy signal and then the call disconnects.
Postal Service Delivery Employee Making False Statements
Received notice that Mail Carrier attempted delivery of a package on 30 Mar but that "No Authorized Recipient Was Available". This is False. I am disabled, was home ALL DAY, and there was No Attempted Delivery. This is a medically Necessary Rx that must be signed for. Went to web site on 31 Mar at 4:40 PM and the Parcel Number on the attempted delivery notice is not even in the system.
We live in Flying Horse and have community mailboxes. We started having our mail stolen week of 2/10/20. on 2/20/20 several mail keys were found with addresses on them, and other broken off keys in the mailboxes. One being the outgoing mailbox. Sounds like someone has a set of master keys stealing mail. hummm
I talked to Talbots this morning 2/13/2020. The agent said the package was delivered yesterday. It might have been delivered, but there was no retrieval key in my mailbox. I have tried to call the Briargate Post Office four times this morning and have been cut off four times. I will go down to the mailboxes and leave a note for my regular carrier and see if he can find the package. Things always go wrong when we have a substitute. No wonder the post office is losing money. I dread When he is off.
So many complaints against one station has become a daily and systemic issue. Mail is put in other neighbors boxes, mail missing, lock boxes can be opened without a key... just to name a few issues. The Station Manager does not reply to our issues whether its an email or a phonemail...
Terrible...USPS needs to shut down!
Waiting for book package from Amazon.com. Sent on 13 Dec by Amazon. Checking their web page, found message: left in mail box by USPS carrier. The only thing in the box is a key that does not open any of the larger boxes where packages are left by the carrier. This happened before. When I called USPS this morning it took me 30 minutes to talk to someone -- I was transferred 3 times to the "operator" and then disconnected after several rings. Your package delivery service needs improving.
Has to be one of the locations most in need of improvement. Lines always long, employees slow to respond and interact, have heard employees argue to customers, product displays lacking product... Dropped a package off Friday, still waiting for tracking information to be posted.
I’m pretty sure it’s not a requirement for the clerks to be rude to the customers but one of the clerks named Melissa was so unbelievably rude to me. I could tell I was not the only one irritated with her because the lady in front of me was complaining to one of her co-workers about her as well. And she refused to help her also. She asked me if I had an appointment and I said “no...” and before I could finish my sentence she cut me off and started helping the people behind me and then made me wait for 40 minutes while people in the back were standing around and continued to help other people as they walked up and refused to make any kind of contact with me. Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a post office.
For over a month we have been experiencing serious delivery issues at our complex. We have a kiosk & have had outgoing mail (checks) stolen from the locked outgoing mail slot, our kiosk doors aren't secured & left swinging wide open after delivery, outgoing mail has been found lying on the ground around the boxes & there are days mail is not being delivered and when it is it is often put in the wrong box. We are getting no resolution from the Briargate Post Office.
Post office closes before 5:30. Online I think says it open until 6. When you get there at 5:25 they say they are closed. Terrible employees. Wish I could use the Monument post office. My mail box cluster is broken by vandal and I just wanted my mail no one was willing to help
The volume of incorrect deliveries over the past several months has been staggering. I regularly receive other's email, and I know some of my mail does not get delivered correctly. I've had a few late payment fees as a result.
The service used to be good in the past, but the deterioration is quite disappointing. I'm reducing my dependence on USPS as a result.
Is there something that can be done? Perhaps improved sorting, or improved attention to the address of delivery.
I also see there are many other complaints! Apparently doesn't matter.
I have had several problems with my carrier. From getting my neighbors mail, lost packages and miss delivered packages. I spoke to Lanett about the issue of my lost package. She was very unprofessional and rude. I asked her how they are going to find my missed delivered package and she told me the carrier delivered it to me because the carrier scanned it at the mail box. I told her if it was delivered to me why would I be calling now. She told me the carrier scanned it at the boxes and there is no way I did not get my package.
This office is HORRIBLE! The very idea of customer service is lost on these bloated government employees.
Only visit this post office if you're ready to stand in line forever only to be treated like an idiot by the smarmy employees.
If the USPS would start paying the postal workers based on productivity I am sure the lines would move faster. Especially the passport line! It took over an hour to do 1 person's passport in front of me! Then the lady was far from nice. It's so good to see our tax dollars at work.
I have been on hold for 23 minutes about a package they supposedly tried to deliver, but left no notification of delivery attempt. Make that 24 minutes. Now they said the carrier who was checking on it left the building. No apology.
Whenever the postman delivers a package he doesn't even wait for somebody to get the door. In the time it takes me to get from my couch to the door (I live in an apartment, so less then 10 seconds?) he is already out the front door and getting into his truck. And when I try to go to the post office to complain, because this has happened so many times, they don't even act like its a concern. I'm using ups or fedex from now on, and telling anyone who sends me a package to do the same.
Ditto..I probably deliver my neighbors' (plural, not just a neighbor's mail but several neighbors!) mail 2 x a month as they are stuffed into my mailbox.
I have had so many issues with them over loosing or giving my mail to my neighbors and every time I have had to talk to a manager it has been HORRIBLE!
My grandparents house burned down in the black forest fire. I order a package to a new address that said undeliverable. I called and talked to Cindy the manager who was a complete jerk. Very quick and just told me over and over that they sent it back. I called back and talked to another employee who was so much help. She took the tracking number (Cindy said they don't use those) she made notes and added my name to the address and even said it might still be in Colorado. So don't talk to Cindy! She is the manager and should be setting an example. I called back and told her what her other employee did for me and let her know how unhelpful she was. She laughed and said "thank you!"
