Always THE WORST customer service! This morning (at 10:10am.....10 minutes after they opened ), there was ONE person helping customers. I asked if they could bring some other help out and the person mumbled behind her mask and said NO. At this point there were 12 people waiting in line (out the back door). I went back up and asked if I could please speak to a manager. Again, very hard to understand her apathetic response, but it was something about either the manager or supervisor doesn't come in until noon. I asked if she could please go back and see if anyone else can come out to help. She said something about the employees are rolling stamps in the back. This location is always difficult.
They sent me home without accepting my mail. I came around 4:40 pm on March 15, 2023. I reached the counter at exactly 5PM after waiting for my turn. This isn't the best place to help clients out. I will never again come back to this place. They rejected 12 envelopes that are all going to IRS. There is no quality control in this place. Should this have been the plan, someone should have come out to check on the people in the line and checked if they can't be rendered the services. The lady of Asian decent even lectured me in front of the crowd that I should have come earlier, it is a shame I come from the same ethnicity. I will never behave how she behaved. They should be audited and checked for the behavior and the quality of their work. I wonder how USPS checks on the standards of their services. They said it will take 1 hour to process my mail, not true. USPS in 2140 N Hollywood Way, Burbank CA gave me huge hope. JULIE was so nice to have accepted my request for service. I even ask if I can help her process the my mail so it would be easier, it only took us 10 minutes to do it. I hope the management of USPS as a whole will read this.
Post office at 91607 is the worst. They are rude, unprofessional, and even racist. The things I have seen there are beyond acceptable.
From berating customers to belittling an old couple. They all need to be fired. That or USPS needs to finally go from a tax payer service to a privately held company. That way thier union can no longer protect them.
