This place is NOT open to access your po box 24hrs. They chain the doors shut so you cannot get in.

I had a package for my business delivered to my cluster locking mailbox (said delivered by tracking number in/at mailbox) has been a week and no one knows where it is. Have called 3 times the gentleman at the post office is trying to help but can’t, due to not knowing what to do. I needed these items for my work and now they are MIA after being “delivered”.

My wife sent our daughter in Shasta Lake a package via Priority Mail from the bay area 7 days ago. Tracking shows it was erroneously sent to Whitmore, who sent it to Shasta Lake 5 days ago. My daughter has not received the package yet and no one answers the phone at Shasta Lake PO. Very disappointing lack of service from what I have always considered a great organization.

I really don't know what to say about this place. I don't know which one is worst. This place or Lakehead. The postmaster is lazy. Every time I made a complaint to her, she just acts like a nasty idiot. I came to this location to see if it was better than the Lakehead post office. It is just worst. For some reason I can't get my mail on time. Both of the postmasters are lazy and pathetic. The postmasters in Shasta is lazy and dirty. The postmaster in Lakehead never comes to work. There is some suspicious activity things in both locations.

Twin Lakes Estate Residences seem to keep getting each other's mail, sometimes we deliver it to neighbors we know other times it goes back. I might get my mail up to a week late due to this and it's not the responsibility of the other reisident to deliver my mail. This is a costly mistake and it needs to be corrected. Every postal employee needs to do better or give the job to someone who cares. Postal employees make a good wage they should be above par. This has been going on for far to long.
