Poplar Way neighborhood. 7/10/23. Carrier knocked over 5 of the 6 garbage cans out. I’m disabled and came to help even though I really shouldn’t. Half way to him and he high tails it out of there way too fast for our narrow driveway (kids and dogs frequently out) and left one of the cans with recycling strewn all over the ground. I get they need to keep on schedule, but come on.
I got my calendar (marked "Do Not Bend") folded in half in my mailbox on Saturday. On Friday morning a package was delivered to my garage door rather than to my front door. (Person doing delivery was driving a USPS truck.) Package delivery has become an easter egg hunt: front door, gateway, back door, head of driveway, folded in post box or just set on top of the post box. I read some of the other comments about delivery and I guess I am not alone. Thanks for listening, Pat
I live on Golden Ridge and my mail has been tampered with a number of times. Most recently today. I had ordered official transcripts that clearly state on the envelope transcript unofficial if opened, and sure enough on BOTH ENVELOPES a tear in the same spot. Upper left corner of envelopes were torn. Another time my outgoing mail was torn to shreds and placed next to my mailbox. Both times I took pictures. I will be pursuing action against whomever delivered my mail today.
I live in the 3000 block of Pleasant Hill Rd. in Sebastopol We used to have great postal service. John was our carrier who did all of Pleasant Hill, Watertrough, Sanders, Kennedy. He came at 9am or earlier for our box. The last year or so he has been gone and our service plummetted. Our mail now comes at 4-6pm. Every other Monday we get no mail, eventhough our email alert says we will get some. But then the next day it shows up again, as if the carrier just could not get to our house in time? And we've had several Amazon deliveries where I saw the USPS tracking say that it was out for delivery, and I saw the truck pull up and deliver other mail, but the USPS tracking says that the carrier "could not deliver" the package eventhough it was small, so it took several more days on/off the truck. I wish I had better things to say about our poor postal carriers, but the service is a shadow of its former self.
My neighbors on Pauline Drive and me have not received mail today or yesterday. I cannot understand why no one has notified us. This seems very negligent. I would appreciate an explanation. GJ
We are on Pleasant Hill Rd and have a new mail carrier in the past few months who is awful! She stuffs packages into mailboxes that don't fit, she drops packages off in the garden dirt, not wanting to walk 10 feet to the covered front door! Never had an issue with delivery until she turned up. She needs to be fired.
I live on Graton Road our mail carrier is awful! Ever since we got this new mail carrier nobody ‘s mail has been delivered to the right addresses packages are not being put in our boxes but yet they say they have been delivered! We get phone calls from people live a half a mile away with our mail, you really need to train your drivers better this is ridiculous or teach them to read numbers and streets!!!!
We live off of Barnett Valley Rd. and packages are consistently not delivered even though the tracking shows them as being delivered. The PO master will not help...the staff at the PO are terrific however...
We live on Watertrough Rd. We have complained over and over about our postal carriers service. Boxes are delivered in the ditch along side our driveway. Packages in boxes have shoe holes and damage. Things will be marked delivered from Amazon and never show up.
Is anyone else tired of our crappy service from the mail carries in our area.
Frustrating and the post office does nothing to help us.
I live on Green Hill Road. We have two carriers. One (male) is fine. The other (female) is freaking AWFUL. Our neighborhood parcel box #2 has been broken for over a year. The key gets stuck and you can't open it. Multiple people have left notes asking how to fix it, and she just leaves a nasty note back saying, "Just jiggle the key!!" I just jiggled the key for like 20 minutes. It doesn't WORK! She delivers the packages to the wrong addresses with great frequency. She speeds up and down our barely single lane driveway like a bat out of hell, and turns around so fast in the driveways, it's like she's a kid doing donuts in the high school parking lot! She chucks packages over the fence into the patio instead of delivering them safely. One time she didnn't deliver my amazon package because she said, "It didn't fit in the truck today." So use a bigger truck or make a second trip! I paid for two-day shipping! She also litters the rubber bands that are wrapped around the mail bundles onto the ground next to the mailboxes. She is AWFUL and clearly doesn't give two Fs about the blessing of having a job. She deserves a formal reprimand and we need this parcel box FIXED. Thank you! In general, I am not a complainer and have been very satisfied with USPS service over the years - especially through the election and this pandemic - but this lady needs a talking to, for real!
I ordered a gift for my Sister that shows it was delivered, and, she did not have in or near her mailbox. Shows delivered 10-30 @2:31 pm

COMPLAINT: I have a notice that a package (which was Shoes) was left in my mail box @2538 Pleasant Hill Rd Sebastopol, 95472; this is not true as my mail box did not have a package beside a box with shoes would not fit into my mail box. This isn't first time I've had notice of deliveries which I have not received---the mail is being put in somebody else mail box. It seems to me putting mail in the address box is very simple----I have no idea where they where they were delivered and it is the USPS responsibility to correct this error---fine my package and deliver to my address of 2538 Pleasant Hill Rd. 95472
The staff at our PO is very efficient, fast, helpful, and usually pleasant. The reason the line moves so slow is because we have a lot of oddballs here that are not prepared when they get to the window.
The downtown Sebastopol PO is just fantastic. There's always very short wait time, the folks that work here are so hospitable, efficient, intelligent, and courteous. They always seem to take the extra step or give good advice about mailing options. It just feels like home.
