the hours posted on the door to the building are incorrect and misleading. They state that the hours are 9 am to 5 pm. This led to my visiting the post office 2 times today to unsuccessfully mail a package. Once at 1;30 pm. The door to the building was locked and a paper sign says out to lunch between 1 and 2 pm. I returned at 4;30 to find that the stated hours 9 to 5 do not apply to the lobby, which on the interior door states it is open to 4 pm. In the interim I went to the post office on Parker and Geary. The computer system was down and so they could not take my package, even though I would pay with cash. It is simple to post accurate information on the door of the Presidio post office .
