I am not happy with the service we get for mail delivery. First of all
when we don't have our regular postman we never receive our
store aids and other mail. They don't seen to know the difference
between unit A and B. I end up delivering mail to the B unit all
the time. What is wrong with this post office. I am really tired of it.
I picked a package that needed signature from the Redondo Beach post office on Catalina. The package was sealed. The package should have contained 3 Jewelry items, an emerald bracelet, and 2 diamond rings. I opened the priority mail envelope using scissors and there was another envelope inside the main envelope. I also opened it with scissors because they were difficult to open. I found all 3 boxes with no jewelry in them. I reported the theft to the USPS inspector hot line but somehow the case was deleted or non existent after few days. I tried speaking with a USPS supervisor who knew of the case and kept on avoiding me. I called the USPS inspection hot line again and I filed a claim but am still.waiting for the case number...
After calling the vendor and sending pictures of the envelopes and the empty boxes, we found out that the theft happened inside the post office..The package was altered.. They changed the inside envelope and they taped the outside envelope which was not taped when it left the vendor s store.
I filed a police report and I hope they will do something about it.
It felt like they all knew of the problem and it is something recurring and tough to tackle.
Just watched a female USPS employee behave contrary to USPS EMPLOYEE AND LABOR RELATION MANUAL: 665.16 Behavior and Personal Habits Employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects favorably upon the Postal Service. It does require that postal employees be honest, reliable, trustworthy, courteous, and of good character and reputation.
Have there been any complaints about stolen mail at your facility? My Christmas cards with gift cards were picked up by my mail carrier two weeks ago and never got delivered to the two states sent to. Never had this happen before and have learned a lesson.
You employ the rudest woman I've had the misfortune of encountering: Angelina. Your post office has misplaced my medication shipment; my pharmacy rang you & spoke to Angelina, who told the pharmacy she'll check for the package & call me. Angelina called to say I should ring N. Redondo post office, but when I tried to explain to her I had no tracking info. on the package, she had no patience to listen. She just hung up on me. I rang again, got her (she denied she was "Angelina, but lectured me on not being rude!). Is it rude to ask how a customer who doesn't have tracking info. accesses info on a package? Remind Angelina that we the taxpayers pay her salary.
Who sorts your mail? Even with a note in my mailbox, I'm still getting my neighbor's mail. I'm tired of going up their stairs to give them their mail. How can I stop this? Even when it has their apt. number, we're still getting it. Thanks for any help.
i'm at 2517 Voorhees Ave, and again were not receiving our store,
mailing to what's on sale or not. Like Vons Ralphs and so on!
