This review is both incredible and horrible. I had an appointment on 04/02/2024 for my daughters passport application at the Hawthorne branch for over a month. Long story short i get a notice at 9am on 4/2 that the appointment was cancelled because the "1 Woman who does passports" is out sick. Really 1 person with no backup? Of course no one answers a phone there and its just a typical federal run facility. I already had all my paperwork filled out and realized it was time to find a new post office. After getting our passport photos we were driving to the Palos Verdes branch and remembered Redondo has services there. I was already mad and prepared to boil over when we walked into the Redondo branch and then we met an absolute godsend of a woman by the name of Dee Dee in passport services. After explaining our situation she asked to see the cancelation text from Hawthorne. Instead I played her the voice mail my oldest daughter who set up the appointment got this morning. After she heard it she winked and smiled and said "don't worry I've got you". Dee Dee was an absolute professional with the utmost respect for people and really funny and down to earth. We breezed through with my daughters application and the expedite process and she actually took the time to help me renew my expired passport which i hadn't planned on doing. I swear if you ever have a problem at another branch make sure you go see Dee Dee. She is an absolute angel. We thanked her profusely and even gave her money to buy her lunch because of what she did for us and how she treated us. I even got a little teary eyed and told her the last few weeks have been really rough and i appreciated everything she did for us and I would hug her if I could. She said stop and turn around and we did just that. Thank you thank you thank you thank you Dee Dee!!! You are one in a billion.

Phone rings and rings forever. Post office is holding my mail hostage because they don't like the location of the mailbox, which was moved to be MORE ACCESSIBLE to the carrier and myself. I'm unable to go to a location within their hours because of work and I'm extremely upset.

This is by far the WORST post OFFICE!!!!!! I have called so many phone numbers and the fufk phone rings and rings .. what the hell .where are you customer service reps. I have spend countless hours trying to get hold of someone. I am driving from Palm Springs to this location and raising hell with them >> ANSWER YOUR PHONE I have a package there that needs a zip code changed. so it will not go back to FRANCE. So angry with this post office.,

i did devilvery two priority mail envelope on the 6/24 one arrived to IRS and the second one also other direct to the IRS , post office tracking says not receive yet ???????????????? 9405503699300281493279 when icall all day long nobody answer the number 310 376 32 52 is ricidicloius and o will complain to the post master !!! probably it do not make any differrence - today is the 06/28

Tried all day to get a hold of someone in this office. 6 times I called, and no answer. I stayed on until Verizon cut me off because I let it ring too long. They have mail for a client of mine and the tracking indicated it was out for delivery on Saturday. No delivery, no confirmation of delivery, and no more information. It just disappeared. What the heck is going on in Redondo Beach. I read all the reviews and they are awful. The postal service needs to clean house in this area.

I bought some items on eBay. My seller send the package to my city in Mexico. The item is still in Redondo Beach. I don't know why, if he's in L.A. it is easier to send it to Tijuana and then to Mty. Why do it the hard way possible? By DHL it arrived in less than a week. I’ve been waiting almost a month for USPS. Have to make it more efficient.

No mail for the past 7 days on Van Horne Ln. Then we get a mail dump with important documents that are now past due. HORRIBLE basic access service for our $$ & tax dollars!! RB Postmaster wake up or resign, right?!

Have not received mail in 3 days! This is horrible! My regular mail lady is out sick; but, there should be a way of getting mail to people. Waiting for her to come back is unacceptable.

Mail service in Redondo Beach is non-existent for the last 6 days. despite the supervisors telling us mail will for sure be delivered. They don’t know what they are talking about and are not doing their jobs. I am waiting for medications and important bills due NOW. This is unconscionable! Everyone call Rep. Ted Lieu’s office.

What is happening to mail delivery? I’ve had no delivery OR PICK UP on Saturday nor the Saturday before and then again on Monday. Is someone throwing my mail in the trash. I usually get tons of mail daily. Also mail with pictures to the iPhone have never made it into my neighbors box. What is going on?

I had my mail on hold for 5 Days and asked to deliver my all hold mail on the last day of hold. It's been three days I returned and no mail in my mail box. I tried to call going through all menus, no success. If I go to the post office to pick up, they probably say, it's with mailman. It happened before. Very fustrating.

Mail delivery used to be good. For the last few months it is horrible. The mail is not delivered to the right address. On several occasions the delivery information updated as mail has been delivered but it is not. Twice they updated the next day - after the delivered notification - mail is ready to be picked up at the station. Mail service has become totally unreliable and messy. You can not reach anyone on the phone either, no help available.

Our postal delivery is terrible! We use to get our mail mid day, than afternoon, than around 5pm. Lately it's coming after 7pm. We haven't gotten any mail the last two days, and this has been going on for several weeks. And when we do get mail we frequently get some for other people in the neighborhood.

Closed for the Holiday and the kiosk does not work dozens of people are inconvenienced the post office grounds on Catalina look like they haven’t been taken care in months and with the recent Leaf fall there’s a danger of falling on the stairs please take care of this

Your tracking says my mail and my packages have been delivered. We have not received any mail or packages from USPS sense last Friday 07-10-20. What's going on I'm not the only one all the neighbors are having the same problem. Stop your tracking from saying packages have been delivered when they have not. Redondo Beach is the worst Post Office, time for new management.

No mail delivery on Axenty Way 3 days now as of 3pm on Wed. When mail is delivered it could be up to 11pm with mail carrier wearing a flashlight on their head. What is the problem in RB??

The drive by postal box in Riviera Village in the Trader Joe’s parking lot has been tampered with by putting some sticky solution so mail will not slip down. This should be cleaned. FYI

I want to know what we do not get the grocery aids every week. Most weeks we do not get them at all.What is wrong with the office. Plus some day we don't get our mail until after 7 or 8.

I am not happy with the service we get for mail delivery. First of all when we don't have our regular postman we never receive our store aids and other mail. They don't seen to know the difference between unit A and B. I end up delivering mail to the B unit all the time. What is wrong with this post office. I am really tired of it.

I picked a package that needed signature from the Redondo Beach post office on Catalina. The package was sealed. The package should have contained 3 Jewelry items, an emerald bracelet, and 2 diamond rings. I opened the priority mail envelope using scissors and there was another envelope inside the main envelope. I also opened it with scissors because they were difficult to open. I found all 3 boxes with no jewelry in them. I reported the theft to the USPS inspector hot line but somehow the case was deleted or non existent after few days. I tried speaking with a USPS supervisor who knew of the case and kept on avoiding me. I called the USPS inspection hot line again and I filed a claim but am still.waiting for the case number... After calling the vendor and sending pictures of the envelopes and the empty boxes, we found out that the theft happened inside the post office..The package was altered.. They changed the inside envelope and they taped the outside envelope which was not taped when it left the vendor s store. I filed a police report and I hope they will do something about it. It felt like they all knew of the problem and it is something recurring and tough to tackle.

Just watched a female USPS employee behave contrary to USPS EMPLOYEE AND LABOR RELATION MANUAL: 665.16 Behavior and Personal Habits Employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects favorably upon the Postal Service. It does require that postal employees be honest, reliable, trustworthy, courteous, and of good character and reputation.

Have there been any complaints about stolen mail at your facility? My Christmas cards with gift cards were picked up by my mail carrier two weeks ago and never got delivered to the two states sent to. Never had this happen before and have learned a lesson.

You employ the rudest woman I've had the misfortune of encountering: Angelina. Your post office has misplaced my medication shipment; my pharmacy rang you & spoke to Angelina, who told the pharmacy she'll check for the package & call me. Angelina called to say I should ring N. Redondo post office, but when I tried to explain to her I had no tracking info. on the package, she had no patience to listen. She just hung up on me. I rang again, got her (she denied she was "Angelina, but lectured me on not being rude!). Is it rude to ask how a customer who doesn't have tracking info. accesses info on a package? Remind Angelina that we the taxpayers pay her salary.

Who sorts your mail? Even with a note in my mailbox, I'm still getting my neighbor's mail. I'm tired of going up their stairs to give them their mail. How can I stop this? Even when it has their apt. number, we're still getting it. Thanks for any help.
