I went to the USPS at the Airport Los Angeles on 6-4-23. When the teller called me to his window, he greeted me with why are you g mailing all of that while he was texting on his phone in clear site of me as the customer. I was mailing 3 Certificate of Mailing, 6 Certified Letters & 1 prepaid envelope (I needed a tracking number for). As he was processing the mail, he was continuing to text on his phone. Then he said you can't add money to this when it says NO POSTAGE NECESSARY. I asked why. No answer from him. I asked for my envelope back and he didn't want to give it to me. Another clerk came & defused the situation, explained why it couldn't be mailed with a tracking form and gave the envelope back to me. Just because this clerk past the examination doesn't mean he is equipped to serve the public. Either he needs more training and/or no customers service contact. He should never be left alone to be of service to the public. His phone also should not be allowed to at the window when customers are present. I included my email address if you wish to contact me, then I could tell you his name.
