Yesterday, July 13, We saw the post office wagon on our street twice, 11 am delivering parcels and around 6 pm driving east on Galaxy Way but we did not get any mail. We have a newspaper that is delivered daily and we were picking up mail for our vacationing neighbor and there was zero mail! Whats up with that???

I just moved to an apartment on G street with the mailbox on the street. first my little box has a slot in it like for outgoing mail so i get crap shoved in there. I taped it up. Friday night at 7:52 PM i supposedly received 5 packages from Ebay. They were not delivered to me I am not sure where they went. I did receive 2 other packages at 5:21 at my front door. no knock just left there. I get a text letting me know it was delivered. What can I do about my lost packages over $150.00 of merchandise. As far as Ebay is concerned I received it because it shows delivered. I can not prove i did not get it... WHAT SHOULD I DO??????

Mail delivery issues: we have lived at 1332 North E Court in the 93436 ZIP code for over 25 years. Until about 1 year to 18 months ago your carriers were always able to deliver our mail at or before 5pm daily Monday-Saturday. That’s all changed now. Frequently our newspapers are not delivered, or we have received other peoples mail or packages in our box. The most recent examples were December 1st and 2nd of this year. On December 1st we did not get our newspapers (SM Times and SB Newspress) however we did get other 3rd class mail. On December 2nd we didn’t get our newspapers or any other mail. The failure of your carriers to deliver our mail is unacceptable. Since you have a monopoly on the delivery of our mail you also have a Universal Service obligation to provide a baseline level of services to every resident of a country. In your response to my concern, I would like to see a solution, not an excuse. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Good morning....I live at 1516 W. Oak...yesterday I put my outgoing mail on my mailbox at 7:00 a.m.  At 7:00 p.m. I brought it back into the house as we didn't have mail service yesterday or the postal worker just didn't pick it up. Why do we not get mail until six or seven in the evening, understand that this is a busy time of the year....but really. Please let your postal worker know that we would like to have our out going mail picked up.....Thx. F.M. Bland

Sent out Certified Mail via a long term employee (I asked how long he had been there- 5 years), who reviewed, corrected and verified all of the addresses concerned. Then 6 of the 9 were returned for 'no receptacles' even though I have a picture of said receptacles. After going into the facility to question this return, the Post Master called into Buellton to inquire. Both the Post Master in Lompoc and Buellton kept reiterating 'they know how to do their jobs', but I was told the addresses were: supposed to be in Gaviota, were the responsibility of the Goleta PO (???), had the wrong city and zip code, and then that the 'receptacles' (labeled with addresses, that also appear of google maps) aren't actually used for mail and are decorative??????. They finally settled on that the Buellton PO 'does not deliver anywhere on HWY 101'. Not to be rude, but if you fail this hard, maybe you actually don't know how to do your jobs.

My son and I have waited all day for his birthday package, which never arrived. We have had our front door open most of the day. Online through ups it says due to weather the package is delayed but will arrive by 8pm. So I call ups to track the package and am told that the lompoc post office tried delivering it but due to animal interference, it was not delivered. Don't really know if I believe this story due to us being here waiting all day. Not very happy right now.
