Post office person who delivers on Emory Oak Pl, in Lathrop keeps leaving our packages in plain view and the hot sun, to be stolen by package pirates. Also, just yesterday, our package was delivered to a "resident", I did not receive it! Today our neighbor came by with TWO of our missing packages! Ugh!
I keep having issues where my postal person either delivers other people's mail to our res or he never picks up my mail! Today they literally just drove by and I have the flag up showing we have out going mail! Just complete laziness!!!
I ve been only living here in lathrop a year now and I'm wonder if anyone else has issues as mine??...i dont normally write reviews but gosh ive never had so much trouble like I have with the lathrop branch ive repeatedly have asked and wrote to mail personnel specifically wrote down names to the people in my house hold and I still receive mail from former residence and also the people before them its jus ridiculously annoying to check your mail and none of it is yours 70% of the time. Also does mail get delivered by a certain time?! Everywhere I remember has about a time range. I had a package on my door step at 4am didnt even knock on the door.... mail comes as they please it seems like 10am 11am 1pm 2pm even almost 4pm I cant count on the post office here in this town and if you attempt to speak with mail or office they are just rude ! Your the post office hello CUSTOMER SERIVCE.
I supposedly had a package delivered today, according to the mail man it was delivered at 12:54 pm, I was home the entire day and nobody delivered anything!!! I have been calling the post office for 3 hours and no one answered!!!! Horrible service at the Lathrop facility!!!!’ Next time UPS will get my business!!!!!!!!!
Rude and combative is only the tip of the iceberg on how I would describe how this branch's "customer" service agent handle a simple questions / request. As if they were doing us a favor. No wonder why people prefer to pay more and use UPS.
On Sept 14 my friend mailed a card and $100 (I know, she shouldn't) for my sister who lost everything in the Butte fire in Calaveras County. She sent it to my PO Box because she didn't know I had all my mail being sent to my street address, I was told by Lathrop personnel that any mail with a forwarding address was sent to Los Angeles for them to mail to the correct address. To-date, I have not received this letter (floral print outside) addressed to me. I cannot believe that this letter would have been forwarded to Los Angeles instead of just simply including it with my other mail. I do not know who now has my old PO Box (in case it was put in it by mistake) and if they would be the type of people that would return it to the post office. It seems to me that this "forwarding rule" just adds unnecessary cost to the running of UPS. Now both my friend and my sister are out $100.
