As a disabled person I cannot wait outdoors to watch for the mailman when my "Informed Delivery" advises that a package will arrive "today". Well, it didn't arrive. And even if it had come as advised, I'm pretty sure we have a new carrier who doesn't really give a rat's a__ about scanning the bar code in order to let a disabled person, such as myself, know that there is merchandise outside and opening an opportunity for theft. That new carrier has been remiss in scanning packages until I suppose he or she HAS to before the end of their shift. What a shame that 1 bad 🍎 reflects so poorly on all the good and compassionate USPS carriers. 😥 Maybe someone should get this bad apple on board with the way the delivery & scanning that had been working so well before they came aboard. We are in the State & La Cumbre neighborhood.. Just in case someone has a minute to follow-up on this. Anne Bauman

I am trying to write this and not be extremely pissed off. I was just informed that the mail delivery guy today showed up to the back of the building (not reception or the mail box) and was bad mouthing me and said I was not doing my job......... He said our mail box was full and needs clear it out and I should be fired........ A. I never met this guy (He is not our normal delivery guy that comes every day). B. our mail box is cleared out daily and when I went to look to see what was going on there was 4 letters in there with lots of room for the 2 packages he through at our shipping department..... C. WE SHARE THE LARGE PACKAGE SLOT with 2 OTHER COMPANIES!!! You should not just assume something and act like that. Those packages taking up the two boxes DO NOT BELONG TO US. This is very unprofessional and disrespectful, the PROFESSIONAL thing to do is speak with the other companies have them the clear out there packages so others can be placed in the mail box. Please remove this man off our route, our company does not support this type of un-professionalism.

We had a terrible experience with an employee whose name tag was Tami. What is worse, there are several reviews on Google against this particular person. It is outrageous that the Post Office management hasn't done anything over several months to address this situation! https://g.co/kgs/HCZUnf One of the Post Office employees, whose name was TAMI on her tag, was extremely rude to us. We purchased two envelopes from the store and did not want to lick the glue (because of state wide Covid concerns that all employees of the store should be very aware and understanding of). When we asked her to glue the envelopes, she gave us a dirty look and refused to glue one of the envelopes with the excuse that "we should have come ready to pay." Not only was she rude but she put our health in peril, since we were forced to lick the envelope. This is completely unacceptable because she had glue and a big roll of transparent tape (that we have had employees of other post offices use in these kind of situation in the recent past) very close to her and available. We ask that you kindly educate your workers, especially rude TAMI, so that in the future we don't have to be afraid for our health whenever we want to send an envelope. Thank you.

Everytime I order things online and they end up at the Goleta Post Office it never gets to me on the Delivery date. Like right now I have 2 different order there both of them landed on the 12th. It's already the 17th and they haven't moved at all. Not to mention I ordered these things online on the June 3rd. Such a disappointment.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Paid extra for guaranteed 2 day shipping and the package STILL did not arrive on time. I explained the importance of the package to arrive no later then said time and the postal assistant insisted paying the extra fee would guarantee its arrival. I should have gone else where because the delay by this location resulted in more stress and money. No refund was offered.

The correct zip code for the Ellwood Branch P.O. is 93118. This post office shares the same building as the Santa Barbara Processing & Distribution Center which has the zip code of 93199. The ONLY postal facility in the greater Santa Barbara area to have a PASSPORT OFFICE is here, next door to the Ellwood post office.
