I tried using the phone customer service. It asks for the tracking #. There are 2 tracking numbers listed on the delivered package - one starts with "e" and the other is a long numerical numbers. What should I enter? I tried both. The voice said they are not correct. I asked for the agent. The system just would not connect me to an agent. It keeps saying the same thing over and over.
The USPS has made a mistake here. It should let me speak to an agent. But it never does. The service provided by USPS is abysmal.
In my neighborhood, about 16 houses share a post box with divided sections with key for packages delivered to individual address. Recently, a package for me never reach me but the tracking barcode indicated that the merchant was delivered. I do not know where did it go wrong.
For the last month we are not getting the volume of mail we usually get. This is a business. Some days we get none. Other tenants are telling me the same with them. What is gong on with the mail.
Our mail carrier has not been showing up until 5:00pm or later for the past week, which is after our business is closed. Yesterday (7/12/22) he did not show up at all. We are on the corner of Leucadia Blvd and Vulcan. Wondering if any of our neighbors are having similar problems? Called Christina at the Encinitas branch, and she claims there was delivery yesterday, but will check with the carrier.
Just spoke with Jason at Encinitas, super helpful and took time to figure out problem I had with forwarded mail. A very good service experience. Thank you!
The worst service we have ever experienced with a post office. I have paid quite a large sum of money to make sure my mail is being forwarded to our new address and our old address is still receiving our mail how incompetent can service be?
The two remaining drive-through letter mail boxes were filled to the top Friday early afternoon so could not mail anything and will need to make another trip. Long line of cars waiting for the drive-through too.
The two remaining drive-through mail boxes were full before 2:30 pm today. A sign on one of the mail boxes alerted customers that the boxes will be locked starting at 5 pm due to mail theft.

Maria at the encinitas location was terrible. I had to ship things for a covid move and at the end she remarked, “wow, this is very expensive”. Thanks. She was unhelpful the whole time and very rude. I wrote the address down in the wrong spot and she berated me for it like I was a dumb child. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt because these are stressful times but man, really terrible experience. Avoid Maria and go to the Solana beach location. Save yourself the trouble.
Just wondering how there can be 24 cars in the parking lot and no line of socially distanced people coming out the door. I assume this is not including employee cars as there is a big parking lot in the back with lots of cars, as well.
Every encounter that I have at the Leucadia and Encinitas Post office is always managed super efficiently and successfully '. . The employees are consistently warm cordial and helpful....thank you...
Not sure about all the complaints i just read in this site. the post office is busy and i believe everyone there is doing a great job mistakes happen but overall i get great service and am happy to say so! Way to go guys!!!!
Given that the Republicans in Congress keep gutting the funding for the USPS, it's no wonder that the phone is always busy, the phone lines don't even connect to anything or anyone and services are limited at every USPS location including this one.
This is a letter of recommendation for Colleen Poulos. She has been our mail carrier for many years. Her service has been remarkable for its promptness & accuracy. She has also been a friend. She is truly a fantastic representative of the USPS.

Spoke with Kerri (I think) and she took care of everything for me within minuets. I was expecting so much less because of the comments below and the difficulty of the situation but I had a great experience.
the service provided by our mailman is horrible!! Almost everyday we get our neighbors mail and our mail goes to others. This results in major problems!!
