Post Office on Lakewood, Downey....I've gone to this post office for years and have always gotten great service from Maria and Pete. They both are very knowledgeable, helpful and caring. Their job is demanding and they do a great job serving everyone.
My house is very hard to find, so I get that they have a hard time. I was expecting a package, they noted "Held at Post Office by customer request" - this was not true. I called & spoke with Melissa, and she was fantastic at helping me figure out how to note where my house is. Additionally, she plans to come see for herself where the house is so she can be sure the description in the P.O. system will be clean to any P.O. employee who tries to deliver to me. I am thrilled that Melissa works there & is willing to go above & beyond to help clear things up. Thank you, Melissa!!!
I live at 7215 Fontana St., Downey, Calif. 90241. For a few months now I have not been receiving all my mail. Many companies have been calling me to tell me my bills are delinquent. I always mail my bills. Many of my letters are never delivered. I have to put stop payments on my checks because you don't deliver my letters. I called the Imperial Hwy Post Office this morning and explained my problem. I was told that they would email you my phone number so that i could explain my problem. You never called me. You never answer your phone. I am really disgusted with you horrible service. I will be forced to complain to the General Postmaster if you don't take care of this problem. Your service is horrendous.
Terrible!! I've been trying to reach the Downey, CA main post office (Firestone Blvd) all day . Since 9am there has been no answer. Just automated operator telling me nobody is available. I call the 800 number and it's the same thing. After dealing with such terrible service it is easy to see why nobody ships via USPS anymore. I wish there were a way to give negative stars. For reliable customer service do not use the USPS. .
10409 Lakewood Bl Downey Ca 90241 THE WORST SERVICE LINES. IT'S NOT JUST ME MANY CUSTOMERS FEEL THE SAME WAY. THEY SHOULD REPLACE MARIA,AT THE SERVICE COUNTER, SHE IS A CHATTER BOX WITH CUSTOMERS, WASTING MY TIME AND OTHERS. MY FRIEND'S FRIEND RECORDED A VIDEO ON HER CELL MARIA HAVING A TANTRUM ON THE FLOOR CRYING SAYING "HER JOB IS STRESSFUL " MY ADVISE QUIT, LET PETER AND THE OTHER GENTLEMEN TAKE OVER,THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB. I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHY MARIA GETS AWAY WITH THIS KIND OF SERVICE, THEN HER TANTRUMS ON THE LOBBY FLOOR,YELLING,CRYING AND YELLING AT HER FELLOW EMPLOYEES. Completely agree with below. Why even list a phone number. No one picks up, even during business hours. I've even tried random extensions. I wish people wouldn't ship things with USPS - worst package delivery!
Along with the other reviews on here, it is frustrating that they don't pick up their phone. I have tried multiple times to make the required appointment over the phone to apply for a passport, but now answer. If an appointment is required and needs to be made over the phone, then they need a better system or someone who will actually pick up the phone.
how do I check an address that is ok? I tried to call the downey PO but no answere I have a cousin in downey but she has never met me so I don't have her number, I sent a new years card but never got an answere if she wasent there or moved or died Im guessing it would have come back but nothing, disappointed.
