Prescott az usps lost my package with $300 of medical supplies and medications— did nothing to replace or try to accommodate for missing money, supplies, medications, or headaches of the fact. It makes me so sad there’s no other option for mailing these things other than a government ran business. I’m now out $300, and no way to get my medications to me, thank you usps, here goes to being sick for a very long time because of unprofessionalism, and not being through.
We are having a terrible problem with packages being put in the wrong mail boxes, who can we speak to regarding this problem. Our medicines, packages this week twice being wrongly delivered to other post boxes. We need help, was on the phone line forever this morning trying to talk to someone regarding this problem, phone call ended up hanging up on me after waiting. Please help
We have a combined mail box for our community. For the third them now, our carrier has put packages in our small box that may fit from the back (for the postal carrier) but too big get out of the front. Calling the post office doesn't seem to help. Last time I had to wait until the next day to catch the carrier to retrieve my mail. I see these are not read by postal employees. Whoever does read this, PLEASE pass it on to not put big packages in the small slot unless they know it can be retrieved from the customer! There is a bigger keyed mailbox attached for such items. PLEASE USE IT!!!
I've had no problems until today when I found 1 piece of mail ( an advertisment) inside the box with the door closed, another in the street about 12 feet down ( that one from the AZ Dept of Revenue) and yet a 3rd (a bank statement!!!) in front of my neighbor's property. I don't know what is going on, but this is seriously alarming. I only hope that was all my mail for today!
I mailed a package out on 1/22/21. I received notification that it was delivered 4 days after the expected delivery date. I called the person I sent it to and she said she did not receive it. She went to the post office and they admitted that they delivered it to the incorrect address and made several attempts to knock on the persons door to get it back but they will not answer the door. They have not changed the delivery status from delivered so when I submitted my claim, it was denied because it shows delivered (it was delivered but not to the person it was addressed to). I submitted an appeal back on 2/17 and it still shows in review. When I call to check on the status of the appeal, I get transferred all over the place and nobody seems to know how to help me except to say my appeal is still in review (for almost a month now). I finally got someone to answer the phone at the Prescott post office and of course, the person I spoke with knew nothing of someone there admitting it was mis-delivered. Now he is saying that he needs to contact the carrier. And it goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on, etc...................................................................

it snowed - I paid to have it removed from driveway but the PO won't deliver a package now they say is too heavy (same monthly order from amazon every month) I can't go to PO due to being very high risk. It's not too heavy - I bring it inside every month and I am almost 65 with a torn knee
Trying to stop or have mail delivered after a vacation stop is a joke. I’ve been put on hold now for 10 minutes, and still waiting to see if we still have mail at the Post Office that hasn’t been delivered yet. Our neighbors routinely get our mail, and vice versa. This has been the worst service we’ve ever experienced.
The USPS use to be come rain, sleet, snow or shine. Now they are just a bunch of wusses! My street has been cleared for 4 days, where is my mail? Fire these people! Oh yeah they work for the govment...
The USPS in Prescott is the worst I have ever experienced, anywhere in the country.
I mailed out time sensitive payments last month and they arrived 1 month late at their destination - causing late fee charged to me.
This month we had some snow, and I expect some delays. But we have received NO mail for 10 days now!
Driveway clear and mailbox has access. Fedex has delivered packages but USPS refuses to deliver anything!
But as usual, the lifetime government job of postmaster means no matter how incompetent you are you - you cannot be fired.
We were expecting three packages from USPS this week, and received USPS notice that they were delivered yesterday to a "parcel locker" yesterday "at 5:27pm" -- the USPS tracking info for all three packages noted as delivered at that exact time to access them. Don't know where they went, but there was no locker key in our mailbox. I realize the snow has delayed deliveries this week, but delivered incorrectly? Not good. I'll be notifying Amazon next that all three packages were LOST by the Prescott post office. Not happy.
Update: All postal lockers were closed. Looks like the postman used the two lockers for other mailboxes and put our packages next to the garage door. Good idea, except he/she put it on the garage door of the WRONG HOUSE. Thankfully, that neighbor found it, wondered what it was, saw the address, and brought it to us.
For obvious reasons, there was no mail Mon. or Tues. I spent 5 hours Wednesday morning clearing the snow (sidewalks, ramp to mailbox) because I was expecting time sensitive mail. In fact, I spoke to my mailman on my sidewalk who said he was delivering packages only. He indicated there was someone in the main post office telling the carriers (who were working and getting paid all week) what their priorities were. No mail came Wed., Thurs. or Fri. but I saw the mailman delivering packages (probably from Amazon). My time sensitive mail (that I had paid for) had expired (scannable forms that had to be returned to the IRS by the month's end). I also was expecting checks from my clients. On Sat., my mail for 6 days finally came. I indicated how unhappy I was, especially since the mail carriers were being paid and were obviously able to deliver packages for most of the week but not the mail. He said he had no control over the process, it was his supervisor. The supervisor needs to be seriously reprimanded or fired for taking advantage of the situation.
The January Storm: My road has been passable after the snow for 36 hours now and the mailbox shoveled clear. I created a turn-around space for the mail vehicle. It is now apparent that I will not get mail delivered until Monday, 9 days (and a new month) after the last delivery. This is hardly acceptable.
There have been many complaints about late mail. I do not care if mail is late...Yesterday is the third time in about a month that I have received mail that is not addressed to this house. Yesterday I found a fund report, a possible year end report for taxes, a possible check along with normal junk mail. That makes me wonder if I am getting all my mail during this tax season.
Very disappointed to say the least. I had a package sent out for warranty which should have arrived in Wisconsin in a week. It arrived in Illinois and has not had an update for 3 full weeks. Said they would call back and email within 24 hours and no success there.
I'm retired and didn't agree to deliver mail to my neighborhood when the carrier can't deliver mail to the correct address. My mail ends up all around the neighborhood as well. Spoke to Post Office who said we're human and this can happen. She also said the carriers sort their own mail for their route. HERE'S AN IDEA: When the carrier misdelivers his sorted mail to the wrong address, the carrier (on his own time) should have to find the package or mail and deliver to correct address. A condition of continued employment. STOP USING COVID 19 AS AN EXCUSE....
The Prescott post office did not even try to deliver a package I ordered from amazon; when I tried to call to try to fix, I would press a series of numbers and then as I awaited an actual person, they just hung up
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated event. The tracking info for my package (which was supposed to be delivered yesterday - Friday) said the Prescott PO received it on Thursday morning, did not "accept" it until 42 hours later at 2 a.m. this morning (Saturday), and then apparently sent it back to Phoenix so I won't get it until Tuesday! This incompetent service is what makes FedEx and UPS so successful.
One of our package lockers in our sub division has a faulty lock. It almost impossible to open and I have a package stuck. I will try and leave a note for the postman so maybe they can move package to a diff locker. I have asked the postman several times about getting this lock repaired but to no avail.
not the best outfit. don't ever expect your mail to be forwarded even with the change of address in place. received notice from a sender by e-mail that my mail was returned to them, two different items this time. how many other items of mail that I don't know about?
I have not received my weekly ads for 5 weeks straight. Today, 1/2/20 my mail was once again put into the wrong box. During this past year, I have NEVER received some important mail that has been sent to me by family members. What is happening with the mail delivery? The postage keeps going up ...yet the competency of the mail delivery service keeps spiraling downward. This is not right.
Magazines are always delivered folded in such a severe manner causing an irreversible crease resulting in crushing of the cover and pages. My mailbox is wide enough permitting no folding and this is probably only due to selfish convenience by USPS to position magazines into letter trays. This includes even high quality magazines with stiff, glossy covers.
another monday after 7:40 pm and no mail at this address of 947 Yavapai Hills Drive, 86301. I have not received mail Friday or Saturday yet and I am expecting I was expecting on Thursday a medical delivery ! And I find nothing on the Internet telling whether or not there was delivery on Friday or if there’s going to be delivery on Saturday today .

I was expecting a package yesterday but carrier marked as undeliverable do to not being able access area. That is so wrong. Delivery was at 5:26 PM and all construction had stopped for the day and it is a residential area they cannot prevent people from accessing their homes. I was able to access my area and it was around the same time as the carrier was supposed to have tried. I don't think they even tried. I thought they weren't delivering every day now I know for sure they aren't.
I just took 4 pieces of mail from my mailbox on 5/1/17.... the date on the mail was 12/5/2015,

I am having problems with some packages not being received even though the tracking report says they were delivered. One was delivered to a neighbor with the same number as my address but on a different street. More care should be given to make sure the address is correct before packages are left. I am reluctant to order online due to these problems.
The people are completely incompetent there. Noone has an idea of anything!!!! I absolutly hate the post service but this is one of there worst locations. Nothing is ever their fault even though you have proof, I will only sind with ups and fedex form now own even thoug it costs me a furtune

This location is terrible. I had a package delivered there and they put one of the yellow notes to pick it up during office hours. When I had finally got some time to stop by and pick it up they couldn't find it and acted like it was my fault they lost it. She said if I could Find my tracking number they could find it so I spent an hour looking and found it. So I went and stood in line for another 30 minutes. When I finally got to the desk again another middle age lady wouldn't even look up the number and said I could if I wanted which I did and it showed it was at the Prescott post office. When I found that both lady's I talked to got upset again and said there was nothing they could do even though they had lost it. I think it's about time we get rid if the usps now that we have competent mail carriers around.
