I decided to write a review. I've been to the Post Office on Skyland Blvd East several times of file a complaint about packages that are delivered to my house. I told them I had front porch to please put all my packages on my front porch by my front door. I work 2 jobs and sometimes I'm not home until after 9:00 p.m. Yesterday I got home and had ordered 2 tablets from Amazon and the carrier left my package on the bottom step out in the weather. It had rained earlier that day and the box was damp. If it had rained again before I got home the tablets would have gotten wet and the cost over $200. I'm really tired of the carrier leave my packages on my steps and not my front porch. I live on Bear Creek Road in the 35405 zip code. Your attention in this matter would be appreciated and if the tablets had been ruined I would hold the postal service responsible. The carriers need to quit being lazy and walk up the 5 steps to my front porch.

Y’all reviews ain’t lookin too good. Y’all have to start caring more. Y’all’s job is very important. You may not think so but it is! You all should take pride in your positions guys. If y’all don’t pick it up they will come investigate and wipe the whole facility out!! Y’all got to many bad ratings!!

This is ridiculous. I need to speak to a person not a machine. My Mom moved from Tuscaloosa and put in a change of address but you still delivered her packages at old address now I can't speak to anyone about it.

Due to us living in a rural area, our mail comes anytime between 3p.m and 6p.m and later. Only 6 miles from town. Even before covid she cares more about feeding stray dogs than delivering our mail. The one that fills in for her sometimes is here by 12 so what is her problem.everytime you see her she is stopped on side of the road or at the gas station. Can someone help. You can never talk to a human when you call either.

We are having problems with our usps mail carrier. #1 she doesn't always completely close the mail box and our mail gets wet and sometimes the door on box is hanging completely open. #2 she crammed the box absolutely packed fulled my hearing aid dryer happened to be in there which I thank God it was not damaged I took pictures of it it was so bad. It took my sister and me to get it out and we both scratched our hands trying to pull the package out. #3 she dropped off a package here yesterday that didn't belong here and my sister told her it didn't belong here and she left it anyway #4 she dropped off a package here today and put it on top of my car which is new and there was a table right in front of my car that she could have put it on.

Do not use the Downtown PO. 12 Etsy packages scanned in and never left the facility. The front desk “male” postal employee took them to the back to get the scan gun and that was the last time they were seen. The Post Master there said he would investigate and call us back - well that was a lie. Still waiting for my phone call. I called backed (you have to call them about 20 times in a row to get them to answer the phone) and got a female that wouldn’t allow me to talk to the Post Master - since he didn’t call me back. She said she could help me. That was another lie - she rudely hung up on me! Lying thieves work here. One package can go missing. 12 packages get STOLEN!!!!

I have been trying very unsuccessfully to reach someone at the downtown 22nd st location. The phone just rings and rings and the voicemail is full so you cannot leave a message. I understand being busy during certain times of the day but no one ever answers the phone during business hours for some reason. I don't understand this at all. I'm trying to get passport info so I can come prepared and I can't do that because no one answers the phone to get any questions answered. I'm beyond frustrated.
