Stamps goes up and service goes down. I've had a letter in our mailbox since Friday and was never picked up on Saturday? Why? At 1866 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham AL 35235. A sad situation.

I've not received my mail in over 2 days and the system said I had mail set out to be delivered but no mail came. What is the problem?

This post office is horrible constantly putting the wrong mail in the box and when you leave a note in the box they don’t care.. They don’t pick up your outgoing mail. They leave my package on “Avenue”not “Terrace” Even when you go to the office the clerks have bad attitudes. I guess good help is hard to come by now the post office must hire anybody. They really need stronger management to get the office organized..

Mail carrier/delivery is a complete joke. I have had several packages that show delivered to my front porch and no one has even been to my house and now all of a sudden they don’t know where my packages are. I have contacted customer service and have not gotten any type of response or explanation. A complete disgrace. Do your job, Geesh! All of our jobs are hard but we still have to comply and satisfy the customer!

This mail delivery is awful at first when they changed our mail carrier it was good then went down now bad and I pull way back from my mail box, and last week I had. Box Humana thrown on my porch she did not place it but threw it and when I tried to say something she did not hear me because she was talking on her phone with ear phones in.

I am one of those elderly folks homebound as advised during this horrible covid-19 pandemic. I have ordered more home delivery than normal and all carriers have been wonderful...Fedex, UPS, and Amazon. I have to wonder if the US Post office has shut down. I ordered a package from Amazon in mid March (USPS as listed carrier). I looked up the tracking info for this package and to my surprise it was "attempted delivery" on March 20 and I could come to the post office and pick it up. Because I am home always as of many weeks now and my little dog alerts me at every postal delivery no attempt was made nor was a slip in my box. I called the toll free number on Amazon's site for the US Post office and went through their lengthy and frustrating automated system and managed to confirm a re-delivery date for March 23. It is now March 30 and still no package or communication from the post office. I have tried to call my local branch with no success. The phone rings and rings with not so much as an option to leave a message. Beware that if you have a package delivery via the US Postal dept. you will probably wonder what happened to it. I am aware that all carriers must be overwhelmed with work because of the worldwide quarantine and delays are expected. But they haven't shut down and stopped communicating or encourage the elderly to get out and pick up their packages like the US Post Office.

This location is horrible! I’ve recently moved to Birmingham from Chicago, IL. I had to have all mail transferred. Since I’ve moved in my home getting mail & getting some type of communication from this location is hell! I go into the location and the line is long with only one window clerk, clerks are coming from out the back area chewing and eating while assisting customers and no one answers questions properly or in a timely manner. I even went as far as talking to the manager of this location about having a package delivered after I’ve confirmed TWICE that I live at the current address my package has been reading undeliverable for 2 days and I cannot get ahold of anyone for a resolution. Customer Service is horrible! No one answers the phone at this location! And it’s a bunch of run around!

I did not believe it when all the reviews here said that the Center Point Post Office doesn't answer their phone...Because that's absurd! What legitimate business doesn't answer their phone? Center Point Post Office doesn't answer their phone at all. A recorded message thanks you for calling, states the hours of business and says to hang on to be connected you with a real person. The phone then rings for 3 minutes and abruptly disconnects. Six times I called and waited, hoping the ringing would end and for real person would answer. The phone just rings and rings until it hangs up on you. It's infuriating.

Our postal carrier needs to find a different job because she's no good at the one she has now! She want get out of the truck to try and deliver a package she'll simply put a notice slip in the box.this morning she stopped at the box because the flag was up my Dad noticed the flag was still up when he was going to get the mail and she didn't even retrieve the out going mail from the box? The carrier stated they attempted delivery on 12-1 but no one was home. The odd thing about that is I was standing in my front door watching the postal truck when it pulled up to my mailbox. I have a steep driveway, no attempt was made for delivery. Had i known there was a pkg. for me i would have walked up the drive and got it, carrier just put the bogus note in box. And to top it off when i tried to inquire about the pkg. the tracking # on note left they say don't exist.

I have lived in several places in the Birmingham area, including Southside, and this postal "service" for Center Point is the absolute worst. Late mail, no mail, lost packages. Calling on the phone is a joke.

I have tried several times to call the CenterPoint location but never an answer; no voice mail; just rings and rings until a tone comes on and call is ended!! I called 800-275-8777 twice and USPS menu apparently doesn't work because both times I requested "CARRIER" for carrier issues and received instructions to "track" a package and wait time was BETWEEN 30 - 40 MINUTES!!!! Please tell me whose has 30 - 40 minutes to wait for a response!! WE BELIEVE OUR CARRIER IS NOT PICKING UP OUR OUTGOING MAIL. We are receiving mail but for 2 days the OUTGOING MAIL DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE PICKED UP. We are a business within a building with several other businesses and it is imperative that our outgoing mail be picked up.

This employees here are completely ridiculous. Our mail carrier broke our lock box not once, but twice by shoving a package inside of it that was obviously to big. The package jammed the lock and the box was completely torn up by the time we got it out. My husband went and spoke with them and they said the manager would call, he never did. I went 2 days later and spoke with the manager along with other employees who were so very rude. The manager said he would send someone out to fix it. Here we are a week late and our box is still broken, and we are not receiveing our mail. So not only is being rude acceptable apparently is lieing.

This post office is completely incompetent. My packages where not delivered to the correct location and then when I went to post office to get them, they could not be found. They said they would call me later that day and I never heard anything from they. I had to call back with the complete tracking number because the lazy delivery person did not write the entire number on the pick up form. They also said the packages had be delivered on the tracking info on the sellers web site. Had I know it was going to this post office I would have never ordered the package to begin with.

Had a package sent and at the carriers discretion, she decided to, instead of checking to see if the said name on the package resided at the residence, send it back. She didn't even follow proper protocol and leave a delivery card. She said my package was undeliverable! I thought the job of a carrier was to deliver and not assume. To top it off they never answer their phone! I am truly disgusted with the service! Truly disgusted.

I have been living in Center Point for 3 years and for those years including today, I'm always transferred to an operator and I let it ring and ring but have never been able to speak to a live person. This is very inconvenient.

I tried to send a book in the mail with insufficient postage...3 stamps was insufficient. When the package was returned to me the stamps were marked through with a green marker and ruined and the envelope with a card inside had a stamp across the middle with "return to sender". Now I cannot use the stamps or the envelope. These are the kind of idiots that work at our c.p. post office and the reason that USPS is bankrupt!

I had my mail stopped because I was going out of town. Then, my mail never started back. I went to the post office before work to have them restart my mail, but they were, at least, 10 minutes late opening for business. So, I left. I called them, but they don't answer their phone. After 50 or so rings, you just get a piercing tone. And you know the worst part? There's not a thing in the world I can do about any of it. Any regular business would have gone bankrupt with service like that. Thanks US Government!
