Terrible service. I ordered an item that transferred from UPS to USPS Mail Innovations service. After arguing with me that UPS transfers packages and mail to USPS as a subcontractor, and finally winning that argument, the person on the phone says they don't see it having arrived in Auburn. The UPS tracking site clearly shows tracking from the purchase location to Morrow, GA, and then to Auburn, AL. Auburn says they never got it. Still shows on their end as in Morrow. Total BS. So much for sending a pick-me-up gift to my kid in college during the last part of the semester. No wonder the USPS is having so much trouble.
I stopped by after 2 lost/ missing packages and NUMEROUS occurrences of outgoing mail not being picked up. I was assured that they would be found my number was taken and told id be given a call back that day or the following. no call was given. I called everyday for 2 weeks and had to leave a message with my number each time call was never returned. one month after my visit to the post office i called again and was finally put through to the gentleman i had spoken with in person a month prior. he stated it now had been to long to find the packages and i would have to report them as stolen, he never once apologized for no call back and was extremely rude.
The Auburn Post Office has to be one of the worst in the country. We have complained numerous times about delivery not occurring and huge swings in service times when it does show. Despite complaints in writing and in person, nothing has been done to resolve the issue. Now it's 9:00 pm with no service again today on Watercrest Drive in Asheton Park. I am so thrilled to know my tax dollars fund this shining example of government waste.
I’m so sick of this post office. I have important mail coming and it is not being delivered but on the app it shows me what is coming. Also they lie about delivering packages they will say they delivered it but when I walk outside when the message comes thru showing they delivered it it’s no where to be found
I have not received mail since May 30,2020. Neither have mail been picked up that were in the box. Where do I go to P/U mail that should have been delivered. This is not good service. I will carry the mail that should have been picked up to the post office, however this is not solving the problem for the mail I should have received. My address is :8 LEE RD 428, AUBURN, AL 36832
We live in Auburn AL and our mail service is terrible. I realize this is not a very good statement to make, but, it is the truth. We did not receive any mail yesterday June 1, 2020. We had mail in our box to be picked up. It is still there today.

I never give reviews but I do reply on them to base my opinion and to see if others have had issues. But this isn't an Amazon order or a package problem this is dealing with my CHILD at the University who is from out of town not having a proper address!!!! The rental company can't figure it out so I try to handle it myself by calling this JOKE of a post office!!! So clearly after reading the reviews I'm not the only one who cannot get these people to ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!!! Packages and mail have been mailed to him at the address the rental company has given him and not ONE THING has he received!!! But yet my tax dollars still get paid for the STATE EMPLOYEE to still get their paychecks! If their not going to answer the phone then why even provide one!! I'm not overlooking the fact that things can get busy and I'm not the only one trying to call apparently but if y'all are that UNDER STAFFED may I suggest hiring some damn help! Absolutely ridiculous!
Our entire neighborhood is on day 2 of no regular mail service!!! Neighbors have gone to the this office to try and figure out what's going on and were not given any explanation except "it's the holidays, we're busy." We've had really good service for the past 10 years, it's busy every holiday season. Not sure what changed, but this is ridiculous!
I ordered a package from Zulilly and Zulilly informs me that the package arrived at our post office on july 27 and it shows that they excepted it at 10:45 am, it is August 8 and I still have not received my package I called the post office twice and they tell me they have not ever received the package in their office yet! So poor Zulilly sent ithe merchandise out so they are not responsible to pay me back the post office claims they're not responsible cause they never received it so I guess I'm just out $35 for nothing!
I purchased Priority Mail 2-Day service for $7.20 on Saturday after 2:00 pm. Today is Wednesday and the envelope is still in route after 4 days. Something is wrong! Why USPS are selling promised service that it can't deliver.
