I have had issues with my mail since Jan. 2022. I live closest to the spenard post office in Anchorage. First we started getting our mail around 8pm. Then a lot of mail dumped near the end of the week. By March 22, I signed up for informed delivery to tell me when I would get mail and still, I wouldn’t receive the mail on the date and get a lump of accumulated mail at the end of the week. in May an important Dmv document was returned to the dmv, even though our address was clearly on the mail, so in June I set up a hold for 30 days. I was still receiving mail in my box!! Went into the post office and the clerk couldn’t understand why I was still receiving mail if I had a hold. He said he would leave a note for the delivery driver. Fast forward to this week and now my informed delivery is telling me I have 9 pieces of mail, but when I go to pick up my mail, it’s not being held! The clerk told me it could be on the mail carriers truck and be returned later in the day. I come back at 5:30pm and he tells me still no mail. Today is Saturday July 9th, 2022, and I’m here at the post office trying to pick up my mail from the Dutch door pickup and it’s clearly states pickup hours are from 9am-3pm on Saturday, and no one is coming to the door. I can hear workers back there moving items and talking, I’ve rang the bell, knocked on the door and still nothing. I’m not sure if this can be blamed on the pandemic anymore right?!

Whoever did the delivery for Terrace on the Lake on this day, 03-21-22, delivered my package and left it on a common area where anyone could have taken it. Worst, it was place in the wrong building even although the package was clearly marked. If it wasn't for a friendly neighbor, I would have never known it presence. Usually, such lightweight package are deliver to my door, behind the screen door or something. I know it wasn't the regular guy who did this. Must be an temp hire who don't care a lick.

Mailed a package to an Anchorage BUSINESS, priority mail and TWICE you have tried to deliver this package AFTER BUSINESS HOURS. First try 6:15 pm, following day, 6:30 pm. BUSINESS HOURS ARE NOT EVENING HOURS!!!!!!
