I did not receive my ballot to vote in March election. It was mailed out in January according to District clerk.

I came to the post to check my PO Box and had my TXDL but the wrong receipt for my key so the clerk turned me away. I came back with the right receipt and my TXDL at 5:42PM. There was a line that reached the door and no one would come to help us. A man in line said he comes to the post office every day and the clerks who work in the afternoon would not help at the front every evening starting at 5:30PM and then show up at 6PM to turn us all away. A carrier opened the window on the door to the left of the front desk and asked if anyone was picking up and I asked if I could pick up my mail. I gave her my ID and accidentally the wrong receipt and then the man who originally turned me away came to the window and very rudely told me " I told you we don't take this receipt" so I got out the correct one and said "what about this one"? He then told me "You're giving me attitude so no" and shut the door in my face! I have never had a clerk be so rude to me!

My letter carrier is always talking on her phone through ear bods and often after I get the mail she delivered late in the day, the next morning I have additional mail, apparently brought by whomever did get the mail. I live at 4909 Houston Drive. I really think this person needs some close supervision. Thank you.

Broadway Street PO around 11 am on 11-16-20. Problems: * only one attendant available with approx 12 customers in line. ( after in line for approx 15 minutes a second attendant did open up) * AND THANK GOODNESS she did because the original line worker had no mask. NOT ACCEPTABLE! Even if behind plexiglass she should be wearing a mask. If she is unable to tolerate a mask and has the medical documentation to support not wearing one please assign her something in the back where she won’t be breathing on customers. Additionally, she won’t be breathing our droplets and get sick......all on our dime! Let’s work together

Please hire more employees for the Broadway post office! I’ve waited over an hour, on average, just to pick up a package. There is always a LONG line and often only one employee helping people. They have a separate door to pick up your packages but no one is there (nor is there a sign redirecting people). The post office on Tremont doesn’t have this problem. The employees at the Broadway location are very courteous and helpful. Hire them some help!

Our block didn't get mail for the entire first week of July, and only twice the next week. Yesterday we discovered why: Our regular carrier is on vacation & numerous employees are out sick with Covid, so the Postmaster is delivering mail. Give them a break!!

I have just moved to Galveston Island about 2 to 3 weeks ago and have had nothing but trouble from USPS. They say they attempt to deliver a package but never have I had a notice in my mailbox nor a knock on my door. I am always at home as I am disabled therefore I I am 100% positive that I did not miss a package. Whom ever is supposed to deliver packages on this route is not doing their job as I have talk to neighbors and then when I had to go in my wheelchair to the post office itself the line was from the counter all the way through the lobby at bat down on the other side of the wall to the front door. Every person there that I talk to has stated The same problem. This person is taking our tax money and not doing their job at all!!! I believe there should be an investigation into this post office as it is really a big joke. I can’t Believe that the post office of the United States of America would be so crooked and dishonor its constituents by lying and not doing their job!!! I can tell you this though and make a promise to you, I will not let this go and will write letters to all government officials and report this post office if this dishonorable behavior and treatment of people continues. This person is basically stealing our money by not Doing their job. This should be reported as a crime also.

I have asked your carrier politely to please close my mail box after he opens it. He was rude and said he has 800 delivers to make and that was on me. This is a new mailbox I just bought at Home Depot. It was a simply request so our mail doesn't get wet.

I don't know why everyone is always so upset at the Postoffice. The staff here are always friendly and helpful to me. But hearing the way other customers talk to them, my goodness, I understand why they dont always get a smile in return! I am always pleased with the assistance and service I receive here! I just wanted to make sure and post how impressed I was with how they are handling people during the COVID-19 issue we have going on. They are making sure folks stay spaced apart, and are making extra efforts to protect their work areas. You guys ARE appreciated!! Keep up the great work!

Employees very courteous despite the fact they are apparently understaffed. There is a dutch door to the side for people to pick up without standing in line. But it is never manned. Many times I have seen others (& I have also) ring the bell for assistance to no avail. They need to post a sign telling people that they need to stand in line for assistance. I really dont know what the door is used for. It is frustrating & the workers at the counter hear the bell, ignore it & go on about the business of helping people in line. Put up a sign. “Ring the doorbell if you like, nobody will come”!

The incompetency of this post office is off the charts! About two months ago we did not receive mail for 4 consecutive days. Also, we receive mail clearly not addressed to our address. I live off of 99th Street and have even received mail addressed to someone in Hitchcock. Once again my mail was not delivered twice this week despite the tracking details on an expected package stating it is “out for delivery”. I finally decided to call the post office but it just rings and rings only to disconnect...and yes, I’m calling during their “open” business hours. Does this post office have anyone managing it or any accountability whatsoever?

Why does the mail arrive on 46th & Woodrow usually around 5:30 pm or as late as 7:00 pm? Very frustrating to have this type of “service”. Supervisors: please hire more people to deliver the mail & packages in a timely manner.

poor customer service. had 2 packages returned because they were labelled "undeliverable." went to pick up this morning just to be told they were returned to sender. Personnel on the phone stated that my address is unrecognizable although I recited the exact address to them. They stated they could not hold the package because they everyone would want their packages to be held? This is the most frustrating and incompetent service I think I have ever encountered.

Arrived 9:05 AM at Bob Lyons post office to pick up package that was not delivered due to no signature. Rang the bell at the "customer service" door and waited. After no response I rang the bell again and still do not receive a response. Several other customers arrived and rang bell and did not receive a response of any kind. Now I'm 15 minutes into waiting and still haven't received ANY response. We could see people looking through the peephole on the door but not answering it. At the 25 minute mark I begin ringing bell several times until finally a clerk answered but did not immediately say anything. I placed my slip on the counter and she finally says, hold on Ill be right back. I asked her name but she shut the door and knocked my slip on the ground. Several minutes later she came back and took my slip with attitude and said her name is Debra and that's all I need to know. Took my slip and came back with my package and didn't say anything but had plenty of attitude. DEBRA needs to know that she works in a customer service position and that her customers are paying her salary and future pension. All she had to do is answer the door and let us know that she would be right with us. She chose to blow us off and make us wait instead. Please provide customer service training for "DEBRA" to avoid these issues in the future.

Our daughters degree was clearly printed Do Not Bend on the envelope but our mail man folded it to put in the mailbox. It will cost us $50 to replace the degree because there is a crease in the paper that we can't get out.

Reason given: UN-Deliverable as Addressed - Time: 6:05pm - Date: 12-7-16 I go to the post office today 12-8-16 to pick up the package. I'm told the package is out for delivery!
