The mailman didn't do his job and deliver a package right at Christmas to my house so I went online to read deliver it, It says they can't do it and so they had a chat and it wants me to pay a dollar just to talk to somebody to help me. Do I need to say more to show you how ridiculous this is

I don’t understand why our mail was delivered in the Oregonian slots over the weekend in our Culdesac. Is the mail person really that lazy to put the mail in the mailbox? The young lady who delivers during the week doesn’t seem to have a problem opening the mailbox

Most branches are open on Saturdays at least a few hours. The people who work 9 to 5 m-f actually have zero access to the desk of their local post office! Ridiculous!

Who and where do I talk to about getting a mail box on my street. I just moved to Rock St and the mail box is in someone’s front yard on the next cross st. Not very secure at all. I don’t feel like changing my address. Please respond ASAP.

Our mail carrier is THE WORST I have ever experienced. He shoves everything he possibly can into the box, no matter if a package needs to be crushed to make it fit! This has been constant, even to the point where he has jammed something in so big we couldn't get the door to open! Recently, our mailbox key suddenly stopped working out of the blue. We're thinking he jammed a bunch of stuff in there once again and it's blocking the mechanism from opening. We tried calling this post office and got nowhere. My husband went down to the office in person and asked them to send someone to look at it. They told him the mail carrier would take a look but we will need to pay for a new lock at $40?! I JUST WATCHED as the mailman pulled up to our box (which is in a bank with 8 others) put the mail in the back side and left WITHOUT checking the lock. So, I called the post office AGAIN and said I just watched this happen and we need someone to check the flipping lock. I have now a full week of unemployment docs sitting in there that need to be filed that I can't get to!! The guy on the phone said he'll ask the driver to turn around and check the lock. I wanted to keep an eye out and go meet him at the end of the block when he returned. I just watched him get out of the car, open the back of the mail box and just TAKE OUT all of the mail in our box and leave before I could even make it to the end of the street!! I'm wearing a bright pink coat for pete's sake! You can't tell me he didn't see me almost jogging up the street. Now I am going to have to drive to the post office just to have them tell me I owe them $40 to replace our lock AND pick up the mail I haven't had access to for over a week. I have no words to describe the level of incompetence and laziness on behalf of this carrier. It's just unbelievable. I wish someone in that office would read this and realize how horrible their staff is.

For the second time in 6 weeks the OC PO has misplaced one of my packages. On December 16 I received a notice from Amazon that my package, an important Christmas gift was left in a locked parcel box at my neighborhood mail boxes. Sure enough, there was a package but not mine. I delivered it to the rightful owner but a week has gone by and the PO is still looking for my package. A real downer given this time of the year.

I ordered printer cartridges from Amazon, which I have done several times in the past. They were to be delivered last Friday, but mailman posted he couldn't enter our building! What building? We have a locking mailbox they would have fit in or someone is always home to bring it to the door. Today we received two packages that weren't ours and the two I was expected came later! Very inefficient and very poor service. We get missorted mail every day and much of ours doesn't arrive.

We had our mail held for a week while on vacation. The first error was made by verizon in sending a phone usps to our home instead of overnight to our vacation address. But, instead of holding our package, usps put a $1,200 phone in our mailbox. Great job.

The service at this Post Office is very hit and miss. I have gotten numerous different stories about what classes a certain package could be sent as, and was stuck paying $6/each to send a large quantity of small packages as Priority Mail before I went to a different Post Office and found out they could be sent First Class ground delivery for half that. Delivery reliability is positively awful. After we moved to Oregon City about 8 years ago, we were getting a lot of mail for somebody with the same last name as ours. We put "Not at this address" on some of it, and then ALL of our mail stopped coming. I made 5 (five) separate visits to the Post Office in person, explaining the problem, and we were still not getting any mail - bills, checks, packages - all were getting sent back for weeks! They had me fill out a "change of address" form (? what???) TWICE. Then, on the fifth visit, a light bulb went on in somebody's head over there and we started getting our mail. Since then, for the past 8 years, there have been multiple occasions where our mail service seems fine and then suddenly goes to *(#)(*@ in a handbasket. For the past 3 months (April-May-June, 2019) we have been in such a mode. Mail on our street destined for multiple different homes is ending up in all the wrong mail boxes. I have talked to my neighbors, and the 4 I talked to are all having the problem. It's as though the mail carrier is either stoned or cannot read.

Once again, postal carrier had a small parcel for us (needing signature) but instead of delivering it, he/she left a "sorry we missed you" ticket in the roadside mailbox. We were home all day, with a clear view of the (75 ft) driveway. No one came to our door with a package. Hoe pathetic!

Horrible service!! Called for over 1 hour and no one ever answered the phone or they picked it up and hung up without answering. All I wanted was to be able to have my pkg redelivered! Online system was down to do it via their website!!! Bad experience all around!!!!

Why is the package drop never working???? Either it is locked or jammed just about every night. I've never had this issue until about three weeks ago and now it seems to only be functioning during open hours which is not really helpful since I only go by Before 6 am and after 6 pm . If at all possible could someone just post a notice to explain the issue?

My daughter's $200 Christmas present is still missing and no one seems to give a care about helping me. It was specifically instructed to NOT be put in the mailbox. So tell me who is the responsible one for this?

Mail was just not delivered for a day when called supervisor I was told they where short staffed when told about tracking saying out for delivery and when not delivered tracking said no access she said it was to show attemp. after telling me there was no mail delivered that day due to short staff. then said if package was important I should have used a garanteed delivery service. it was priority mail 2-3 days express was going to be 2-3 days also. it was here in 2 days just not delivered. regular carrier is great but deserves her vacation and days off. whenever she is off this happens or it is real late. today they had 3 people trying to do her route to make up for yesterdays no mail. and it was still late. very incompetent. this was not a holiday or weekend.

Poor service, when regular person has day off or takes vacation service is terrible they have no good back up. 8:30 pm and mail still not here today happens too often. they need more people and better trained people to cover when regular person is off. have had packages stolen when delivered this late.

Normally, my mail service is outstanding, however this is the third time that the Saturday delivery person either leaves my packages LITERALLY on the curb for anyone to steal or gives me a "sorry you're not home" letter when I'm clearly home and waiting. I intend to call them on Monday and share my thoughts on the lazy delivery person we have on the weekends.
