I am usually happy with the service. I ordered an item from an online retailer that was shipped on 4/28 and arrived to the West Linn post office on 5/1. I assumed it would be delivered the next day or Monday at the latest. I checked my tracking number and found out today (5/7) that it had been sent to Flint MI and is now somewhere in Pennsylvania. Seriously?!

Mailman's serving Marylhurst Drive have been neglectful and this is story of almost two years. Our previous complaint was excused by either the mailman is new or substitute for the regular mailman. The excuses are getting very old while we are loosing credit cards and statements more often than before. It is disappointing to see after all we pay for income taxes and property taxes, that is what our public service do in return. There are many advise for people as for security of their accounts, while pose office can be one of the factors people get subjected to identity theft. West Linn post office has lost our mail many many times during last couple of years. Either it has been delivered to different address or lost. Please for whatever it worth, make a note, it may help your mailman to be more aware when dividing mails and delivers them.

The psotal service is a non-tax funded company. They aren't public servants.

Christopher Jeremy Benn: YOU ARE INCORRECT. The Post Office is part of the Government, the workers are PUBLIC SERVANTS.
