My passport has been delivered to this post office since August 11,2021 but I still haven't received it. They said it was out for delivery but I never received a slip or the actual passport. I scheduled for a redelivery because I don't have id to go and pick it up and still nothing. My passport is due to be sent back on the 26 and I haven't heard back from the post office yet. They leave all the mail for the entire 3 family house in one mail box and there are three units. All of my important papers never make it to me im so disgusted with their service

The worse post office is Newark, NJ. They receive packages for me and sit on them for four days before sending them on to the next facility. The current package I’m waiting for was supposed to be delivered two days ago, but Newark didn’t send it out until yesterday. And I probably still won’t receive it before Friday.

My package from China which is in Newark NJ and apparently a facility close to the postal service has the package and Aftership haven't send any updates to the USPS,what can I do other than call the Post Master General's office in Washington since I'm a gov employee

I sent a parcel from Canada on November 9 th at 10 AM , express post with insurance . The postage was around $35 dollars roe a small package to go to. Forces Mensaje 377 S 10 th Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103. It was a gift for Her Birthday on Thursday November19th??????? The tracking system said it went out for delivery on November 17th. No updates have been made since November18th? Where is my package? How can you charge for express post at $35 dollars, when you take two weeks to deliver a package??? When will someone respond to me , ever??????? Thanks Rick Schneider

The Springfield Avenue Branch has the worst service ever! Mail package delivery keeps leaving messages that they cannot gain access to my building which is nonsense so my packages keep being returned to the Post Office. Why not just leave them there in the first place? I will keep taking this as high up as I can until I get some satisfaction or at least a response. The service here is pathetic!

Because its the Government they think they can do anything to us. Every time I call they pick the phone up and quickly hangs it back up. And there is no one to complain to, We just have to sit back and take it

I was supposed to receive a package and the mail carrier scanned it as being delivered in or at the mailbox. I didn't receive the package. I spent almost a month searching for my package. It's rather sad that it took a post office in Connecticut to tell me that my package was at this post office. 1.Why was the package scanned incorrectly? 2. If it was taken back to the post office, why wasn't a slip left saying that they attempted delivery? 3. Why wasn't there a second attempt to deliver the package? I spent almost an entire month without a phone,yet still had to pay for my service because of their negligence. If you are going to take on the responsibility to do a job, the least you could do is perform it correctly. What is the point in paying for express mail if I don't receive my package until 20days later? SMH...you really need to do better.

I live at 595So.12thSt. My mail have been delivered at another address the mail clerk left mailbox open where someone can go in and take someone else mail this is not the first time also I receive someone else mail I was told to throw the mail away I would never think a mail clerk would tell me to do that Thank You

I don’t understand how is it possible that this post office hasn’t still gotten any legal action against them. If people pay for their services then they should hold the end of the bargain who it is to do their jobs and deliver packages. This people are liers they say that they deliver but they don’t

PLEASE HELP ME! ! I'M A 72 YEAR OLD SENIOR....WHO HAS PROBLEM IN WALKING......everything that everyone is saying is true. We don't get a notice if we have a package at the post office.....and another thing they want us to come at 11.00 am to pick up package. For example it took 45 minutes to walk 2 blocks to the post office and the young man told me to come back at 11.00 am that when we give out packages. I did not know what to so I told he it's no way I can make it back down here... it's to far. The manager heard me so she gave my package early. I have another package that has been there for one week and I haven't received a notice yet. This don't make any sense.......why do we have to suffer like this. I don't know how long I beable to do this. Please Lord open their ears so they can hear me. I'm crying out to find someone to hear us at this Post Office on Springfield Avenue, Newark. N.J.

Why does their phone number go to a fax machine. My pkg has been out for delivery for 2 days and no one has an answer. Tired of paying for a service to be rude to me. Researching highest level to file a complaint as well as my screen shots of that pkg with daily conflicting reports when its sitting in the post office.

I moved from Newark of New Jersey to Virginia, but a few nights before leaving myself and my fiance filled out the Change of Address form so there would be no delay in receiving our mail at the new address. We've waited nearly a month now and still now mail. I gave a call to the postmaster who answered the phone one morning, she stated she would get the ball rolling for us as well as have a postal carrier go to our old address to gather mail previously delivered there to have it also forwarded to us but NOTHING. In the four years and three (3) months I have lived there, the Springfield Avenue local Post Office in Newark has always had some sort of poor customer service issues. Nasty responses from those behind the glass regarding misplaced, misdirected, lost or never received mail; postal carriers who occasionally drop mail outside residents without simply placing the mail in a mail box or door of the residence or not paying attention to what address the mail is being delivered to because either he or she is rushing or engaged in personal conversations while on the job during the length of his or her route; and no one picking up the phones to address customer related questions when you know the post office has been opened since 7:30 am (though they've opened quite late a few mornings). I believe they themselves post or pay people to write great reviews to offset the negative ones left by many of us experiencing level of difficulty getting or receiving great customer service. I called five (5) times this morning so far and no answer, hoping and praying though that my mail will so be forwarded to me. Wish me luck. * Drinking tea like Kermit though I wished it were wine or something much stronger to keep me from cussing them out up there *

I hate this facility they lie and say the package was sent out and it wasn't, then when picking up the package the lines are so long .....we all need to call The Postal Master because this is ridiculous for this to be a Government Facility...we pay too much TAXES for the NONSENSE!

The Springfield Ave., Nwk Post Office has all round bad service (not everybody and not ever time) but I can say two people are good hard working postal employees. It's said but I will drive to anyother...ANY OTHER post office except only if Ihave to pick up there. I heard very bad customer service today toward a customer who left the building' " saying

I went the post office with a tracking number because no info notice was left for me. I gave the number to the lazy young woman behind the counter, who asked me who wrote the number for me and after i explained that i did not have a slip from the post office; left the window for 2 minutes came back and told me i would have to wait for a slip there was nothing she could do. after much insisting she went to the back came back with a package that thought was the correct package turned out to be a package i had to re-order because it was never delivered. this told me two things. 1) she did not check the tracking number because she would have know it was not the correct package. and 2) They made no attempt to deliver my package left no notice. that package should have been sent back to the company. however they were holding at the post office. When it comes to picking up a package if they have to put to much effort into it. Your answer will be it's not here or you have to come back tomorrow.They really need to re-organize this post office. Who managing this location maybe they need to be replaced. There is no way you can have this many complaints and not take it seriously.No one should have to deal with the attitudes they face when entering this post office. They leave you on hold as if your complaint or issue is of no concern of theirs. unprofessional, that is their behavior in a nut shell. yes, everyone experiences some bad days but not everyday!

Not Happy, I oredered a product on February 13th and the driver stated that they left a notice for me which is not true I never received a notice. Needless to say it is now March 4th and I still havent received my package. In addition to that I went to the post office today and they cant even locate my package. You all are the absolute worse.

POOR SERVICE. I am writing as I wait on hold for the toll free #. have been on for 20 minutes. The direct # to the PO does not work. try it 973-624-4112. I have a PO Box. Mail sent to this PO box is being returned to the sender. I can understand a mistake, but this has happened several times. When we went to the PO to ask, the manager/supervisor would not come out. The person at the window took the enveopes that were hand delivered to us after they were returned to the sender. Came back and Said that it was a mistake and won't happen again. The yellow stickers were removed from the 2 examples we handed in to show what the sticker said. The envelopes were then placed in our PO box. ?? This does not make sense. We already took the contents out of the env.

I hate this post office they never deliver anything you have to go and get it you stand in line for an hour and just for them to tell you your package is not there without them even looking they are sooooooo rude I want to move just so I don't have to deal with this office I get my checks mailed to me and one of my checks did not get delivered to me til two weeks later I can't with this post office

The carriers lie and say they have tried to deliver but no one was home and they left a notice. All lies. When I went to the location they couldn't find my package. They just took my phone number and said they were going to call me when they find it. That was on the 12th and as of the 14th they sent the package back. I tried to call this location because I couldn't go there but the phone is constantly busy. Now I know why the usps is going out of business. Everyone is fake working

THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO BE SHUT DONE.. THE WHOLE STAFF IS NO GOOD. THE LOSE SO MANY PACKAGES . THE WORKERS DONT CARE. AND WHEN YOU TRACK YOUR PACKAGE IT SAYS THE ATTEMPTED BUT NO ONE WAS HOME. WHEN IN FACT THE DRIVER NEVER COME. IF THEY NEED TO FIRE EVERYONE THERE AN REHIRE.
