I know times are different now, I tend to UNDERSTAND the non delivery of my mail. If there is a problem with personnel being short, A simple declaration of this would be helpful. My delivery " sucks". Between no delivery, to late late delivery, is disturbing. I had a package sent the first week in June to Port Allen. Package never made and should have been returned. It has not. My understanding of this type of mail delivery, is based on the superior service that was demanded of my postal era. I am retired postal worker. Bringing mail back, making walking routes curbside by choice, is ridiculous. My neighbors and I call each other just to see if mail came, or how long its been since we got mail! The area of concern is the Glen Oaks area (Maplewood) and (Dickens) area. Please keep the public informed of how this is going to be handled. Thank you
