According to UPS a package was transferred to post office in Evansville, IN on 12/14/16 at 12:00 pm. It is now 12/18/16 at 6:18 pm and I don't have my package. How can I go about trying to track this package.
I waited on my front porch for my carrier to deliver my package as I knew through tracking it would be delivered today. She was driving very fast and skidding to each mailbox on our gravel lane ( all week long) She quickly put letters in box and drove away fast to the next mailbox. I yelled where's my package but of course she didn't hear me. I figured she didn't have it anyway. But 1 hour later I received a text message from Amazon that delivery was attempted! That was a bold faced lie! I was waiting on porch for it and carrier barely stopped. I too, am a postal employee but this irritated me to no end. I needed this parcel today. I also contacted Amazon.com and UPS about this since it was a sure post delivery. In the past month I've had 2 parcel issues with Usps.
Sorry to say--we have had several issues with our deliveries. This last one should never have been jammed into the mailbox as it was way too long and was obviously broken by pushing it against the back of the mailbox. Mail carriers are well paid and should do their jobs with proper respect for all packages. I used to be a proponent for USPS, but I have had many issues since our longtime mail carrier retired about 4 years ago.
I love my delivery person, but I have a suggestion. I have degenerative disc disease so I put the flag up on my mailbox so I know when the mail is delivered and don't have to make another painful trip down the driveway to retrieve it. Half the time the delivery person drops the mail and doesn't put the flag down. Are they lazy, or are they upset because there is no outgoing mail in the box? I don't know, but my back tells me I should be upset with them. If you care about customer satisfaction you will advise you carriers to pay attention. Mike
