After calling the Washington Ave post office several times today with no answer, I tried again and it said the office is currently closed. It's Friday around 330pm. Our mail carrier would not deliver my mail because my dog was inside the house at the front door next to me. We've had several issues with our mail carrier. She is terrified of dogs. There are several of my neighbors that have had issues with her. We live on Blue Ridge between Bellmeade and Washington. We've filed several grievances with this post office. There has been zero follow up. We've asked to have someone come out so that we can move our mailbox to the street. No one shows up. If our mail carrier isn't addressed, I'm contacting Steve, David, and/or the Attorney General.

Hi, I've been calling the 812 471 1966 number since Friday, and no one will pick up. My mail carrier is terrified of my dog even when she is secured in our house. If my dog is by the front window or door, she will keep my mail and not deliver it. We've asked the post office to come out, 2 different times, so that we can move our mailbox to the road to help alleviate the mail carrier's fear of our dog. No one has showed up as promised. I'm asking for someone from USPS to reach out to me so that we can move our mailbox. Thanks

The lady at the front counter working today 10-18-19 is extremely rude and has no customer service skills!
