just came from the local post office & brought a print-out of the tracking.. i did NOT receive the package...i did NOT receive a notice of attempted delivery...i have a mail slot at the front door which is right at the property line with the public sidewalk in front of the door.... the package would have been too large for the mail slot... i was at the shop on monday- the delivery postperson did not ring the bell or call # written on door...... the person in charge at local po says .."..... it was delivered to to the point of service" .... i asked if the public sidewalk is considered a "point of service".... they did not answer and said i could file a complaint either on-line, by phone, or mail. i will be filing a formal complaint with USPS.
