Greatly appreciated the very late delivery of mail, after 10:30 pm, following a 3 day weekend. Someone made a special effort.

At QT on SE 14th on Saturday 4.8.2023 at 1432. Pulled in beside a postal truck with a blue 6 painted in the inside 9210217 on the top above the windshield, to see a federal postal worker smoking in his delivery vehicle. The state of Iowa I know has a law against this. How is a federal employee gets to smoke in a government vehicle. My tax payer dollars at work

Terrible customer service. Do not answer their phone. We look on line and see we are to receive mail on any given day and do not receive it. This happened four days in a row. I wouldn’t even give them a One rating.

Worst customer service ever. This location has lost several packages of mine. Each time I call and attempt to locate it, with a promise from the postal employee that they will call back with an update, and it never happens. If you go the customer service counter for assistance, they get angry that you are making a request to locate your missing package. I will be using a different carrier going forward as this is costing me money, and they employees there obviously do not care.

My mailbox was broken this morning and since you broke it before, when we had a nice box, you gave us plastic. Now the door when opened today came off in my hand and want it replaced before tomorrow the 12/12/2019. Tried to call, but no one will answer

Have the last two days been a holiday, no delivery on the 1200 block of Amos. I have an outgoing mail that's been there for 2 days and no pick up, and while I'm mentioning issues in the neighborhood with the mailman, lady across the street said he keeps stepping in her flowers instead of walking up the steps to put it in the mailbox.🤔

Seems that the mail person who does the porter ave. and side roads along porter doesnt believe in bringing mail until 530pm, 600pm or sometimes just not at all is not affecting the des moines southside residents. Well news flash mr/mrs mail person ITS DEFINETLY AFFECTING US! When your a single mom and have to wait on the mailman all day and all night to receive your pay check its a little rediculous... I havent seen a mailman go down my street (sw 3rd pl and porter ave.) since Saturday. Im waiting on my paycheck that was mailed out Thursday last week. Its pretty sad when a small town like Hartford Can receive their mail but i live maybe 10 blocks from the freaking post office on se 5th and i cant get mine! I just dont get it all!!!

Evidently the standard exam for letter carriers is now non existent. Chronic mis-deliveries and and no deliveries. "Sorry Mr Creditor. but my letter carrier never got the check to me that was sent out and should of been received this past week

we received a bag in the mail for the postal food drive and put it back, out along with several of our neighbors, with food items in it, but it was never picked up by our mail carrier. If the postal carrier doesn't want to be a team player then don't clutter my mail with the bag.

I am very concerned as I do a lot of online ordering and I am not receiving all of my orders. One day another lady and I both had a key to the same box for packages!! I don't know how that can happen. Also the locks are EXTREMELY hard to open on the boxes for packages. This last week the key actually broke off in the lock as I had to jiggle and jiggle and jiggle it trying to get it to open. I have left several messages in my box to the postman explaining the problem. Please advise me about all of these very concerning problems. Thank you.
