I dropped off a check payment to the blue drop box outside of the Dresden Dr. post office on 12/23/22. I was doing online banking on 12/27/22 & noticed my checking acct. had been depleted. The check payment that I’d dropped off was apparently stolen, ‘washed’, & re-written to an individual’s name for a vastly greater amount than the original check. I had to immediately close the account & have yet to receive replacement funds from my bank. In the meantime, I can’t pay my mortgage. I’m certain I wasn’t the only victim & the criminals likely racked up a lot of $ in the days ahead of Christmas. We need the Postmaster General, who has authority over mail theft, GBI, FBI to go after these thieves & prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law!

The post office is the most certain and trustworthy of all the entities that deliver packages. Unlike the abysmal Fedex, the local (Dresden Drive) PO leaves packages at the door rather than in front of our garage, the latter being subject to weather and openly available for theft. Further, all employees with whom I've spoken are courteous and kind, both on their postal carrier routes and inside the PO. We do a terrible disservice to our continuity in attempting to turn mail and package delivery to private for profit above all else corporations. They are just not very polite and are helpful only in terms of attempting to have us, when we send packages, to upgrade to a costlier level. And whether there is a difference in delivery at higher rates is uncertain.

The Postmaster General was on TV yesterday, testifying before Congress. He stated that USPS is doing just fine and will have no trouble handling all the mail in ballots on Nov. 3rd. Then why didn't anyone on our block receive their mail yesterday (Monday)???

Your service,if you call it that, sucks. After 3 attempts by phone and 20 minutes to get nowhere, I am giving up you win. I received a letter back labeled INSUFFICIENT ADDRESS. I mail to the address all of the time. I am told from the person I sent a birthday card and gift ..."that's the way it is down here."It's lucky that the government is involved otherwise everyone should be fired.Fed EX and UPS should run your operation !!!!!

Hello, I have tried every way possible to get in touch with the Dresden Post office in Brookhaven, Georgia, because my package is apparently being held there. Every time I call, it says the user is busy, and no customer service representative will return my contact attempts. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, and my package was supposed to arrive four days ago. There is apparently "no delivery update available." I would love some answers, although I am sure that I will not get them.

I have issues with this branch (Dresden Drive). My mail does not get delivered and I had to stop payment on two different checks in a 2 month period. My mail was stolen, check that was written to someone in Vermont ended up getting washed and written to their name and cashed in Snellville, GA. I had to change my Checking Account! What is going on with this branch? Does anyone else have similar problems with this location? I am very disappointed!

I need a map of the blue, neighborhood post boxes that are sprinkled around our area. All of Brookhaven would be appreciated but at least those in a 2 mile radius from my house at 2250 Matthews St. NE. Thanks! 404-254-6321
