I live on Almayo Ave. in West L.A. I haven't received my mail in the last 2 days. In looking at the other comments, this seems (unfortunately) to be a common occurance.

The mail from the office was bad before Covid but it is now substantially worse. I can go 3 days without receiving a piece of mail. I've also had some mail sent to me 'certified', scanned at the office, but it still never made it to my mailbox. I'm suspecting theft or incompetence. It seems like we have a new carrier once a week. Is that due to the theft or poor performance? Please explain and provide some ideas of how to improve.

My wife was sitting outside our house this afternoon (May 6th) and our letter carrier walked up the driveway and wasn’t wearing a mask. If that carrier exhibits any symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19, please contact me immediately. In order to confirm the identity of the letter carrier, please email me at the address I have confidentially provided. Thank you very much for your prompt attention to this urgent request.

Where is my business mail. We have received no mail for two weeks. Put in an I inquiry on line and by phone. Received email back that the woman in charge was investigating and would get back to me in two days. That was a week ago. She also gave her direct phone number which has been busy constantly for 1 week. With all the circumstances of having no business I need my mail as there are monies owed to our company which we really need at this time.

Angry, rude, cruel group of women run this horrible excuse for a Post Office. If you feel like getting beat up, this is the place to go.

Yeah. There was a black guy(everyone is black there which fine) who never called out for help when there were 12 people standing line ffor about 20 minutes to pick up packages. He did this all the time. Interestingly when there was a black person in line, he had no problem calling someone to the window. So he and the other black workers were doing the same until the time when I complained. That idiot is not there anymore. Terrible people with terrible attitude. But don't be surprised. They have no education or proper upbringing. They come from the worst part of LA. The discrimination and unfair treatment of people what not black are obvious at this post office. And they are the ones saying the whites are racist.

There is one specific lady here, a black woman who will treat you differently and rudely if you’re not black. I was turned away for not being black and I know this because behind me walked in a black woman and was greeted with smiles and kindness. I’m sorry that she has a grudge against those who aren’t black but it’s not my fault. I was simply trying to get a few questions answered.

I wish an investigative journalist would go undercover and expose the rude, cruel people who work here. As a community of kind, hard working, taxpayers we shouldn’t have to suffer their flagrant abuse. It’s nonstop and wrong.

For the second time this year, and we're only into the second month of the year, we received no mail delivery in my building yesterday, and again this wasn't a holiday. The day before, Monday, the delivery was after 7:00 p.m. When I mention my reliably unpredictable mail delivery to friends and family in other parts of the state and country, they can't believe it. Since it happens so frequently here, I'm no longer surprised, but frustrated. And I know I'm not alone. Is this sort of irregular service routine all over Los Angeles, or just on the westside?

I have a mail slot on my front door. My replacement debit card was supposed to have been delivered on March 27, 2017, but I never received it. It was fraudulently activated and used to withdraw 500 dollars from my linked checking account the same day in the afternoon at the same branch. I believe this fraud is somehow connected to this Post Office. as it had happened once before last year under same circumstances but with a different card. The bank has the snap shot of the person who was wearing a hoodie to withdraw funds from my account. Despite my repeated complaints, their internal investigation dept. closed my case saying there is nothing more they can do and my only option is to file police report. Had I not placed a fraud alert limit of $ 500 withdrawal per day, this transaction would have gone unnoticed until next statement. The thief had managed to change the pin on my replacement debit card that was immediately cancelled by the Bank. Now I am waiting for my new card with my fingers crossed. The new carrier to our neighborhood (Aiken, Bradbury...) frequently delivers mail addressed to other addresses, often streets away. For example, on Oct 20, 2016, I received two first class items, one on Corinth and one on Almayo. In addition, the carrier ignores my posted sign to deposit all mail possible down the mail slot and instead tosses magazines and ads onto the front porch. I have lived here since 1966 and mail carriers have successfully complied with this small request.

Our Mail man always shows off to deliver our mail with a cigarette his hand, our mail smells like cigarette, our house stinks up since he walks up to the door to drop off the mail, I order diapers and books on line, and every thing super stinks of cigarettes, this is NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!
