So frustrated. Package noted as delivered. I checked 15mins later and n package. I understand sometimes scanners are off or delivered to wrong address---that wasn't my frustration: I call the PO-MarVista--eventually got thru. Very pleasant ady answered--She asked if Iwoud go on hold for a moment.. "of course"-14 minutes later.......nothing....still holding.
Of course line busy from then on. Dont know if the issue is the Staff or just Staffing...But totally unable to conduct business.
We took time off work today to take our son to renew his passport- Guess what? The Mar Vista branch no longer has passport services! Not only that, all the other local post office branches require reservations to apply for a passport! You can't get through on the phone to make a reservation... Please, UPDATE your websites! Make it easier for us to make a reservation! It shouldn't be this hard.
7/3/14 - I had the same issue. Westchester/LAX are the only local post offices in the area with passport functions.

hey how about putting some ball point pens PERMANENTLY at the long waiting table so that your CUSTOMERS can begin filling out the details on their packages while waiting for the next teller???guess what... this will SAVE TIME and shorten the long lines.because customers don't have to fill out the forms at the counter in front of you!to the manager of this location: if you're worried about the pens being misplaced or taken..... you can buy permanently fixed pens that attach to the table via chains. in other words they are stationary. this is a novel solution that was developed 50 years ago but none of your genius employees seem to be able to put 2 and 2 together.
