For the past 2 to 3 months, mail delivery to Melody Ranch has been substantially delayed. it usually isn't put in the mailbox until late in the day (5 or later.) And when we discuss this with the delivery contractor we find that she does not speak English. I am very tired of getting my mail delivered to me so late that, for example, I don't get to read my weekly paper until the next day. There are also many complaints in the neighborhood about mis-delivery of first class and small package mail. Please discuss this with the contractor/Carrier and do what's necessary so that we can get our mail by the usual time of 2:00 to 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon. We know she is new to the position, but her service has been sub-par and hasn't improved.

Please do something about staffing these outlying post offices. For example, the Kelly post office lists the times they are open, but often no-one shows up. This is extremely frustrating when you plan to drive to be there in time, only to wait and no one shows up. This has been going on for years.

Please do something to fix this post office. We have a personal PO Box and a business that receives mail at our address. Packages are sent to us and the post office rejects them saying the address isn’t valid when it is exactly as the post office described. They receive packages for us but don’t give us a pickup letter for our street address business box! This is happening every other week. Please fix this.

A friend of mine accidentally sent me a couple of packages with USPS, not knowing that delivery service isn’t available in the Jackson area. As soon as he found out he called the office on Maple Street and tried to resolve the issue. An employee named Eden quickly pulled my packages aside and I was able to get them personally. Eden was so helpful and friendly and she saved me a lot of hassle. Just thought you should know that I had a problem that was resolved quickly and the customer service was exemplary. Thanks!

This post office really makes me wonder why the service still exists. Apparently, it's so important mail, like my driver's license, can be lost. They have a scanning service called "informed delivery". Apparently, they are informing you of what should be coming to your mailbox, but will be lost forthwith by the local carrier. Any business that operated like this would have been burned to the metaphorical ground by the clients. But this one keeps going, propped up like a zombie by the federal government.

The WORST postal service in the country. They tell us to put our PO box number after our last name because they won't except physical addresses. But then when you buy form Amazon for example they google your name and address and a number after your last name is invalid so they take it off the shipping address, Then when it arrives at the "New Post Office" 83002 it sits there for WEEKS why they sort and match your physical shipping address to you PO Box address on file. It's the must pathetic organization in this town. My package has been sitting at the 83002 PO for two weeks now while they try to match my physical address to mu PO Box. NEVER use the USPOS in this town to ship. Go Fed EX or USPS!!!!!!

I have tried to call the PO in Jackson and no one answers. It has rung now over 20 times. I just have a quick question, so I guess I have to ask it here. How long does the PO keep mail that cannot be delivered? I deal with undeliverable mail at my job and just received mail that is dated from September 2018. Last month I received mail that was dated 2015-2018. This is unacceptable, as we need to be able to update our customers information as soon as possible. Is there a policy for the USPS that mail is not delivered on time, through whatever weather etc....If it is not deliverable, then it should be returned to sender in a timely fashion. thank you,
