Postal Locations

I want to THANK Karen for such an exceptional job helping me find a package that I tried to send to my granddaughters. (up on the ridge). I had put the county rd instead of the complete address. (my mistake, I left the computer do the address) She searched from Fairmont to Columbus to Bainbridge to Chillicothe searching for it. But SHE found it. I couldn't have asked for a kinder and more compassionate person to work with. Again, thank you so much and if your ever in FL lunch is on me!

I want to report that at least one mail carrier has the gull to put a envelope with a Christmas card in the Federally owned mail box, with a card for you to sign and send him $. He addresses it to himself for you to add your own stamp and send it back to him. Needless to say he did not put a stamp on his envelope, but just put one in the box address back to him. I have tried calling the Post Master in Fairmont all day. No one will pick up the phone and it goes to a answer service, then it rings again until it finally beeps several times and hangs up on you. Where have we come in this world when the government and it's a employees that work for us and get paid by our tax monies, feel they do not have to have any accountability and answer to its citizens. He broke federal law and is trying to take advantage of the elderly that are afraid if they don't give him Christmas $ he may not deliver the mail, medicine and such. And when these vulnerable citizens are shut ins they feel even more pressure to comply. You sir should be ashamed of your actions by using your federal job for purposes of personal gain. This is not the end.

Fairmont post office is terrible, the mail carrier turns around 30 yards from my driveway and they refuse to make him deliver to my house so in turn I have to pay for a P.O. Box which is ridiculous. Worst post office I have ever dealt with by far, when packages arrive at the post office you have to wait 2 more days for the package to be sorted and put in the box, typical government ran agency.

We just got an Orange card saying my dogs were threatening from your lazy … lying mailman! First my dog died February 20 secondly we put an 8000 fence in to keep my St Bernards contained last summer in June! He is to lazy to bring our dog food up the driveway that we order weekly from Amazon. Fine leave it at the bottom of driveway! He also knocks the garbage can over on Fridays when garbage is picked up if we are gone before they pick up! He literally broke our new mailbox because he refuses to get out of his vehicle! I’m sorry not sure who he is but needs an attitude adjustment! This is ridiculous and needs investigated! Also this orange card was out in my neighbors mailbox! Thank you in advance!

Our mail goes in everyone else’s mailbox instead of our own. Serious issue. I called postal service. NEVER can talk to a person. Can’t blame shortage of help or the pandemic.

I live in Monongah and I live our carriers. Kind and they do a great job. I would hate to have to deliver in all kinds of weather…

Ive tried calling fairmont post office several times and never get a answer. Well i have a package ive been expecting thats never came But when i track it It says delivered yesterday. This package contains 10 proof sets from 1970 i paid a little over 55 dollars for it. It was mailed from Bob Ryan Po box 932 Apopka Florida 32704-0932. TERRIBLE! Just TERRIBLE! I scheduled a Pickup at my Front Door yesterday (Confirmation #WEC312928042), but the delivery person NEVER came to the door after dropping off my mail at the mailbox. Then the local post office wouldn't answer their phone, after calling multiple times and letting it ring over 100 times! The 1-800 number wasn't any better: You have to go through menu after menu, only to have my issue as NOT being an OPTION! Then, they tell you due to the Coronavirus, call back times are greater than one hour (which is fine & understandable), except they NEVER call you back! So darn frustrating!!! If I didn't ALREADY have the postage paid & labels printed, I would go to UPS or FedEx . . .

2/27/2020 I receive packages from Amazon weekly thru USPS, today t was returned to post office, that has never happened, I was home at Fairmont post office Linda L Dean Please deliver tomorrow My mailman is Duane

Would like to know where I can find the prices of p.o boxes monthly or yearly .

Even though I have signs everywhere..the mailman continues to leave packages on our porch which get taken n destroyed!! Now, Christmas presents have been displaced and I may not be able to replace! Why can't you follow directions! Back closed in porch!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered an item with tracking number. I followed the tracking b/c I was excited for it to arrive. It said on Friday 8/3/18 that it was out for delivery. I was excited that it was coming earlier than it originally said. I waited and waited and waited on my mail carrier and nobody ever showed. I checked my tracking and it said it was delivered! I thought maybe I would wait till the next day and see if maybe something just happened that slowed/ended her day early. Well Sat. I waited on the mail carrier and when they came I asked about my package that it said was delivered the previous day. She said she didnt have mail for anyone on my street that day. She said to just call PO. Well the delivery time stamp was for 3:32 and the package I got on sat is stamped for 3:34.( right at same time) Neighbors getting each others packages seems to be normal in this area. I have already lost one package b/c of it. This is the same mail carrier that was seen putting envelopes upto the sun. Without making assumptions but seemed like they was trying g yo see what was in the envelope. I will be EXTREMELY disappointed in our postal service if I lose out on ANOTHER package and the money it cost me, not only the item but all the money I pay for shipping and then have to deal with this stuff. I shouldnt have to go asking neighbors or checking their porches for my packages. No reason. With all the shipping charges I pay my packages and mail should arrive in my mailbox/doorstep on time.

12/12/2016-------7:09 pm-----No mail delivery yet today, I've had mail in my mailbox since this morning to go out--------What is wrong with our delivery service? It has been 5:30 pm or later for the last week or 2 before we see a mail carrier. This problem needs to be fixed, even if you have to put on more carriers.
