This message is for Wisconsin Rapids USPS. 54494. I put mail in my box yesterday at 8 A.M. with the flag up. It is still there. This is the second time it has happened in the last 3 weeks. This is unacceptable.
I've been having a lot of issues with mail service in my area the past year+. I receive an email each day stating what will be delivered only to not get mail delivered at all for multiple days.
A year ago my packages got picked up but didn't get scanned and didn't get delivered in a timely manner and I lost income when this happened. Tracking was not possible as well because the packages weren't scanned and sat in the post office. I talked with the post office who advised me to go online and request that my outgoing packages get picked up and not put in my box. I then starting scheduling this.
I recently scheduled a package (2nd day priority) to be picked up. The package wasn't picked up and my mail wasn't delivered. I once again called the post office and learned that the carrier is restricted to 8 hour days and they don't have enough help so mail won't always be delivered. This doesn't help with the rent checks I need to process or the packages I ship out. Furthermore, I received an email that my package was picked up when it wasn't.
There are jobs available at the Post Office is people are willing to work.
How come we are not getting any mail. I understand that we don't get mail every day, but I haven't gotten any mail for over a week. If my bills are late will you pay my late charge?
My brother has been getting the Chicago paper delivered to his Rapids home for about three years. recently, the papers are slower and slower in arriving at his home. Recently, in mid-Dec, he got a Chicago paper that was nearly three weeks old. Somehow this need to improve. he is paying for this paper, but it just is not arriving in a timely fashion. he has stopped at the post office, he has called to express his frustration, but no changes or improvements have occurred. please respond with some assistance/information.
Mask wearing. Today is 2-24-2021. I thought President Biden issued a mandate that people entering or working in a Federal Building are supposed to wear a mask while in the building. We visited the Wisconsin Rapids USPS building today and the gentleman (custodian) emptying the trash bins had no mask on. He was emptying trash bins in the lobby and should have been wearing a mask.
Very sad, left a paper based christmas gift out in the rain to get soggy and warped. Usually pretty ok with delivery, but that was just rather dumb on the deliverers part - it's clearly raining and the product was left under an overhang where it was clearly getting wet and is nigh ruined.
I can't believe we still have a postal service that hand delivers daily mail to each home in the area! The mail carriers we have known through the years are always polite and helpful. We are grateful for this service.
I had my invites for my wedding arrive by USPS. It was unfortunately raining that day. The mail carrier covered it with a plastic bag and put my recycling tub that was empty over them. Totally saved the invites, not a drop of rain on them. Thank you for thinking outside the box! Grand Rapids Area, Wisconsin.
Absolutely awful. My boyfriend recently passed away and he wasn't fond of pictures so we never had one together. I had a woman in Australia hand-drawing a picture of the two of us together that was supposed to arrive at my house today. The delivery woman knocked on my door one time, and by the time I got to the door approximately fifteen seconds later, she was gone and left me a notice. This is not acceptable. Am I supposed to be waiting by my front door every single day waiting for my mail in case there is a chance there is something important I need to sign off on? I am disgusted.
The USPS is horrible! So unreliable! 2 times they have delivered my package to the wrong address. How hard is it to read the address on the mail box?!!?!!!
