Horrible customer service! I have never had a good experience at this post office and have only had rude encounters with staff. I am appalled that this behavior is allowed. I finally walked out of this post office and took my packages to another.
We had our mail forward to where we stayed in Arizona for the winter but for the way home I put my mail on hold. We are home from Arizona which we are suppose to be on a 14 day self quarantine, I called the post office to just deliver my mail and was told no I would have to come pick it up. So I wrote the Pleasant Prairie post master and left my phone number. With no response from the post master. Today they did delivered my regular mail but not my mail that was on hold. I think this is totally ridiculous. So I guess I will be going to the post office to pick up my mail and only hope I am not caring the virus to pass on to whoever maybe in the post office.
I am constantly not recieving my packages from this post office, and when they make a mistake the people who work there treat you very badly as though it was your fault. I truely wish amazon didnt us the usps, not to mention that even with several phones stating that my gate with a posted sign to close is constatly left open, UNBELIVABLE!
My mail man has real issues with picking up packages and scanning them. I get complains from my customers saying tracking numbers are never even being loaded up. I've lost my top rated seller status because he won't scan the packages when he picks them up, in return I now have lost my 20% discount on seller fees. I've written my mail man asking him kindly to scan packages. He does it for 2 days then quits! I even put packages at mail box so he doesn't even have to come to the porch to get them. One day he seen me out side and said "O what no packages today? O darn" with a eye roll. He needs a kick in his A**. Do your job you jerk! And today he delivered me a package on my porch but left my packages going out. I don't know what to do anymore, except lug boxes down to the post office every day.
How disappointing. I call on the phone to have my mail put on hold, they won't hold my mail at our, address. So the next step, wait 30 - 40 mins. on the phone.....which i'm currently doing. I in the meantime, decide to go online. They still won't hold my mail....what happened to technology and getting updated?? I'm disappointed that this cant' be handled online or the phone. I don't have the time to stop and wait in line and write this out for a 3rd time.
Just want to give my KUDOS for the great work of the postal worker Beth. Not sure if you have an Impact Awards or equivalent that we can nominate her for, however we would like to recognize her for the great customer service she provided and the overall experience with our visit.
I've noticed this is a pretty common problem, but I moved 6 months ago and am still getting my mail delivered to the wrong box. The mail person delivers both the upper and lower mail to the same box even though it is specified. So, I marked upper and lower on the boxes so as not to have my mail delivered to someone elses box, but still it did not work. I have called the post office 8 times now and have had no solution. This last time, I spoke to a woman at 4:30 on July 6th and she was so extremely rude and laughed when I tried telling her my problem. This is so unacceptable. Something really needs to be done.
We've been constantly receiving other people's mail and frequently are missing mail and packages we are expecting. I have no idea what's going on but it's unacceptable. Whenever we call and try to figure out where the variety of our items are/went, the common response is "I don't know and there is no possible way to contact the person who happen to deliver your mail today." The USPS is legally obligated to deliver our mail at "uniform price and quality" which is certainly not the case at the moment here in Pleasant Prairie.
I have found that if you ask for a supervisor you get better answers. I have also had to call the main national USPS number to report problems with local branches, both here and in TX(had an issue shipping something to family a few months ago) also, the we can't contact the carrier is bs so don't fall for that. They can and they can have the carrier contact you when they get back into the facility, Just not while they are on the road. Good luck to you!

Trying to figure out if we have a "sub" again this week. Put a letter in my mailbox two days ago, and today at 12:00 noon, it was still there. Why doesn't the carrier open all the boxes like the regular guy? He opens each box and takes out any outgoing mail. Seems every so often we get a substitute that either doesn't know what to do, or just doesn't care. It's no wonder the Postal Service is loosing money to private concerns like FedEx and UPS.
We love our regular carrier. She is the best we've had in 60 years. Her name is Michelle. We live near K Tap. I also had an extremely nice man answer my call at PP. And assist me in getting a pkg. Sent.

I arrived at the post office needing to buy stamps. I walked up to the door at 5:25. They close at 5:30. The girl was locking the doors. I told her I only needed stamps so I would be in an out in time. She said sorry we're closed. Shut and locked the door. As I stand there with my cash in one hand and baby daughter in the other. I understand wanting to get out on time, but what an inconvenience for me as a customer. Very disappointed.
