Postman stopped delivering our mail 2 months ago, leaving a personal note in my mailbox to call when wanting to resume service, with a cell phone number that doesn't answer. I don't want a personal relationship with my Postman -- just professional. Mailbox is emptied regularly except for once when on vacation. He should have left me a professional phone number so we can get our mail. Clerk I spoke to this morning was unhelpful and irritating.
I expecting two small pkgs. I received a notice that the pkgs. we’re delivered Monday 10/15 to my mailbox. However, I did not receive either package. My apt is very near the delivery point and after hearing mail & PKgs delivered to apartments mail area, I went to pick up my mail. No packages for me. Today I checked after mail delivery and still no pkgs. Why say the pkgs were delivered in detail when they have not been delivered at all?
I am very displeased, I ordered a package and paid $14.99 extra to get it rush delivered. It was delivered on Saturday, 8/5 to my apartment building. The postal carrier put it in one of the lock boxes and put a key in my mail box. I went to open the lock box with the key in my mailbox, the wrong key was in my mailbox. The only lock box that was locked was a different number and the number on my key was a box that was already open.
So in conclusion, I paid $14.99 for rush shipping, which was a waste because it will be locked in a lock box I don't have access to. I will not be in town (hence rush ordering this package) on Monday to get the package, so I will have to go to the post office on Tuesday, which is when the free shipping would have been delivered.
I am on hold with the USPS currently, the wait time was expected between 20-30 minutes.
