They are very rude and slow. They said we would not get mail until March. There was a driver last night for the first time in a long time and she only dropped 2 of the many many items we are waiting on. And said if it wasn’t there then go back to the post office
Beware citizens of Maple Valley! this location lost 3 of my packages with expensive contents. They were tracked into the facility and disappeared! Tracking showed never went out for delivery. One went out for delivery and was delivered open with no contents. Even though it had clearly been opened they delivered it anyways! The employees at the location were very casual about it like it happens all the time (which I've come to learn IT DOES) They made comments like "what do you want us to do about it" and "go online and file a report". So you know if a sender doesn't insure the package YOI'RE OUT OF LUCK! you can't even file a complaint! So these Government employees that are entrusted to handle our mail and packages can lose, steal, damage our property at will with NO consequences! I also witnessed a carrier throw one of my packages over my 6 foot gate onto my cement driveway breaking everything in the box! When I caught her down the street and asked her why she did that? and what had happened she replied "what was I supposed to do". WOW just wow! So beware this is how the Maple Valley facility operates!
It has become difficult to determine parking places as the painted lo
Ines have become very faint. Please fix the flickering lights in you facility. Some people are very sensitive to the flickering and it can result in veritigo problems or seizures.
I am very upset. Mail service is always hit or miss my neighbors and I have watched the mail person make a left up and out of the neighborhood skipping two whole streets before. Today I had a package left in my mailbox that was far to big and wouldn't allow the mailbox to close. It should have been brought to the door. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Recent guardrail construction on 235th/236th Avenue SE required the replacement of mailbox supports for 12 existing mailboxes. The contractor failed to place them on the new supports in the order they were originally. I have asked them to notify residents impacted and to schedule work to reinstall them in their previous order. Notices are going out today/tomorrow and the work will take place on Monday, December 7th. Please call [number removed] or Resident Engineer Jeff Wilcox a (206) 503-0973 if you have any concerns.
We have the continuing issue with delivery, at least 2-3 times per month we get the letters, magazines, packages for the next street address which have the same house number. Being a good neighbor several times I brought all wrong delivered items to our next street neighbor. One time I could not, it was heavy box with parts for the car, asked the neighbor to pick it up by themselves. So yesterday I got the box again, called the post office, notified the staff, they promised to send somebody to pick it up. Today, I almost missed the post car, running after it trying to stop the driver going away. He told me that nobody let him know to pick the wrong delivered package. It seems like post mail delivery does not care about the quality of their service, too bad.
Due to horrible delivery accuracy and lack of management responsiveness I have gone paperless on everything I can possibly think of. After about 20 online complaints and multiple failed attempts to speak to the manager directly at the Wax road office there has been no action by management to correct the problem. My important mail consistently keeps being delivered to other neighbors and ultimately not to me. This is a disgrace by our USPS office and needs to be fixed. I hope a district manager reads this and takes it seriously.
Our mail continues to be delivered to others in our neighborhood. We get our neighbors mail. Our bills sometime never get to us because our postal carrier keeps outing the mail in the wrong box. I live on SE 267th st. Other neighbors are having the same problem its been going on for too long
