I live in North Springfield, Vt 05150 the new Post Master has a rude attitude with customers and she also told me that the office is open on Saturdays until Noon. I went to the post office at 11:05 am amd the office was closed and the PMR was walking out the door and getting in her door to go home. I am not happy with the way this Post Office is being run since the old PostMaster has retired.

Irving Energy in Lewiston ME is claiming non receipt of my bill and several other residents in Thetford, even a man who sent his registered who had the signed receipt. I spoke with the postmistress in the E. Thetford office and she was aware of this and also said Irving was the only company not getting their mail from Thetford. I believe there is sabotage going on up there and the USPS is get blamed. I think this needs to be investigated by the USPS.

I see a lot of reviews here with the same issues. I have had so many horrible mail stories, at least one a week. I have just left a pretty heated message and it’s one of many. I feel like my mail is being held hostage. Our mail person shoves stuff in our mailbox so tight we can’t open it and she’s also ruined things by doing this. They don’t care. They’re rude and inconsiderate. They don’t like their job go somewhere else. These are federal crimes. No one in the post office cares and we have no other alternatives. Each time I order something I pray until I actually receive it.

The SUPERVISOR at this location told me that the zip code printed on my IRS tax form was wrong because "ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter burned down the post office" so they had to change the address. I asked her to just help with my mailing and not make it political, to which she replied that she was just stating "facts." I find this totally inappropriate for a uniformed, on-duty postal worker to say to a customer, with a room full of other customers. She either thinks the whole world is white, or she wishes it was.

I stopped to mail Christmas packages today, and needed to purchase tape as I'd forgotten mine, as well as boxes & packing materials. The first employee I encountered, a young female who told me it was her first day, directed me to a display set up near the cashiers where I found what I was looking for. I asked her if I needed to pay before using them, or if I could use, and then pay when mailing- she said I could go ahead & use, and then pay all at once, so after spending about 10 minutes packaging up my gifts, addressing the packages, and taping them shut, I got into the line for the cashiers. There was 1 woman standing in the doorway whom I told to go ahead of me as I didn't want to just cut in line. Once I got to the cashier, another young female who also told me it was her first day as well, I answered the standard questions regarding my package's content. An older woman (supervisor?) was nearby, and interrupted her & said that there were more questions to ask me as I had answered yes, that the package contained liquid. She further went on to ask what it was I was mailing, so I told her that each package contained a bottle of maple syrup, so she asked me if I had put the bottles into a bag, or other container inside of the box, and lined the box with absorbant material? I told her that the syrup was in a bag inside, and that one box had t-shirts in it as well, but that I wasn't aware of that regulation. She said that I would need to re-package the items & come back, so I said that it would be helpful if these regulations were posted somewhere so that the public knew the rules as I seldom mail packages. She said that she wasn't going to argue & that I needed to leave the post office. At one point she had stepped back a bit, and said something about an attitude to the next cashier, so I asked her if she was talking about my attitude as I never once raised my voice, argued, swore, or made any threatening comments or gestures. She again said that she wasn't going to argue & that I needed to leave. During all of this, I'd been speaking to the young lady at the register & told her happy 1st day at work in a joking manner, as well as that sometimes customer service jobs weren't very fun. She in no way appeared to be concerned, and seemed to look like a deer caught in the headlights. I've worked in Law Enforcement for a number of years, and as a Patrol Officer at Dartmouth College for over 12 years, and had alot of training in customer service. This older woman may have been busy, stressed, or otherwise, but she did not display one ounce of customer service towards me. I have a cognative disability complete with memory deficits & the fact that I merely suggested posting the rules in plain view for all to see certainly did not warrant the type of behavior that I received from her. I understand that it was a busy day, and I know that Christmas time is stressful, but... she was not professional, and she was rude & I find it completely unacceptable & will not be utilizing USPS services from now on. I'm going to look into Pirate shipping and/or UPS from now on as I feel that I'll have a much better experience. Oh, and I also wished the young lady a Merry Christmas!

What a joke. My package was logged into the post office on Thursday at 7:10 am 10/29. Today is 11/4 and it still has not been delivered could have walked there and home in way so much less time.

Adding to review a year later. The Quechee post office should be shut down. The woman there is downright rude and nasty to deal with!

Really disappointed in the service received today- I ship weekly Priority Mail... grab the boxes in the lobby pack my stuff label it and visit the counter (masked of course during Covid 19). Usually greeted and taken care of having them circle the customer service survey at the bottom of the receipt. Today not so much- the adhesive wasn’t sticking on the priority box when asked to have it sealed better I was told no and to inbox the items and pick another box. I left- I won’t use your services if I’m treated that way

Unbelievably poor customer service. No one answers phones in WRJ or Wilder. Our mail is left in puddles in driveway or soaking in the mailbox( which is not wet) and covered with dirt. My neighbor found some on the road and another piece of mail for yet another neighbor. What is going on? This poor delivery has happened more than once.

Terrible service and impossible to get a hold of anybody...not just at this site but even with the 800 number. I was told my wait time was 7 hours and 30 minutes!! Long story short: My package was received in White River on 1/12/18....I live in South Royalton so assumed I would have it yesterday 1/6/2018 since Monday was a holiday....but of course not, then today looked at the tracking and it's in HAMPDEN MAINE!!! I am furious and there is NO ONE to speak to. I've left 2 messages between yesterday and today and have not heard back. Unreal.

This is a very bad delivery service. I have a Ebay business and my purchases are lost or missed delivered all the time. They cost me hundreds of dollars. They need to be Post Master Fired and all the delivery people. Or they should be retrained. They get paid for a service they don't supply. Thinking of getting a lawyer. I'm a ex federal worker from DC. I'm requesting a investigation about this post office. There service is very poor. I go to my box they says its delivered and it never there.

Dear WRJ Postmaster or Postmistress: My red flag outgoing mail was not collected today, Monday 12/18. Last week it was not collected the day before the storm, the day of the storm (understandable) and the day after the storm. It was delivered Saturday. Is there some problem? I recieve important mail from family at the end of each month which i s time sensitive. I live in Barrister Drive in wrj. Many times the mail never arrives and is sent back and other times delivery of mail is 7 days out from Frederick md and the postal worker is not here consistently at the same time. My questions are why is mail frequently returned to sender as it is addressed the same way each time, why does some times delivery takes 2 days and others over a week and finally is there a certain the postal worker is suposed to have mail delivered to our mailboxes. Please advise.

In August, I mailed my daughter's eyeglasses to her in Rome, Italy, where she lives. Frequent inquiries to her about their arrival were negative and several months later they arrived back to me. It cost me $65. to send them and they are now back at my house in Wilder, VT.. Now what do I do? I need to get reimbursed unless you are able to re-mail this little parcel to her in Rome. Please notify of your intent. Judith Rocchio

I never got a response to my message to you of several weeks ago regarding the package I mailed to Rome, Italy @ $65. from WRJ P.O. that eventually just came back to me. Why hasn't anyone had the courtesy even to respond? I still have the package and now I can't get into my mailbox in WRJ at my home. What's up with the USPS? This is not okay and never was a problem until this years.

What's up with the WRJ postal office................? Sometimes the mail is left at my door, other times not. I am elderly and cannot run to the mailbox all the time especially in this weather. I'm sure the box is jammed full and the mailman never leaves a key so that we can go into the larger box to retrieve it. This post office used to be the one you could count on. Now, it is definitely not. Help!!!!

I want to issue a HUGE complaint about how filthy the Manchester Center, VT Post Office is and has been for the last many, many months. It is awful!! There is dirt everywhere, papers, lots and lots of sand and other dirt and the rugs are filthy. It is a disgrace, compared to how nicely kept it was when there were full time janitors. This is a disgrace to the US Postal Service. PLEASE, hire someone to clean!!! The current employees don't have time to do it in addition to their current duties. Thank you

white river jct post office is a joke. They want a raise when there post people keep screwing up. Today I found my two large packages out side the mail room, in the rain wet. one was a cast iron glass table which would have rusted if I didn't know, following a box with thee wicker chairs to go with it my purchase would and could have been ruined if it weren't for my landlord and maintenance bringing them up. I CAN NOT CARY THEM MYSELF WITH MY KNEE.
