I understand being short handed but don`t lie. Delayed excuse is delivery access not available when I have just shoveled in front of the mail box less than an hour before attempted delivery. And yes no one answers the phone at local post office. Day three without mail

The lack of postal deliveries to River Rd is ridiculous, going up to five days without mail deliveries. And only when you go to the post office is only when they tell you anything. Lack of carriers is not the customer’s problem. What is the post office going to do when a customer doesn’t get their bills in a timely manner are they going to give the companies a call and explain. No they won’t.

This has got to be the sorriest service I have ever seen. I can’t get any one to answer the phone. Plus I have an express mail that has not been delivered for two days. So what is your problem. Next time I will use fedex. So go take a hike. This is past terrible service.

This post office is horrible. Do not ever have someone mail you anything needing a signature unless you don't have a job and sit at home all day. Every time I try calling them no one has EVER picked up the phone. Worst service ever because there IS NO service. Once I was told to pick up my package on Pearl St. but when I went there they said I had to go out to the Essex Junction one. That one is out of the way and I don't have time during the week to make it out there and sometimes not on the weekends. So then it is sent back to the sender and then I have to wait for it again without signature.

I mailed a package from Arizona on December 8 and it was stuck in LA since the 10th. I submitted an incident report and within an hour I got a phone call from Lindsay in the Essex Junction VT Post Office acknowledging my concern. The package is finally out for delivery today, December 29. Again, Lindsay personally called me to let me know the package was found and out for delivery. This personalized service from Lindsay at the Post Office was unexpected and vert very much appreciated. She made me feel that my concern was as important her as it was to me. Thank you, Lindsay, you are a welcome asset to the Postal Service! Mary Burke

I would like to lodge a complaint about deliveries on Sunday. I appreciate that we have deliveries on Sunday, however, it seems like every time we do get something on Sunday it is delivered to our neighbor's house. This is very frustrating for both me and my neighbors. I wish that whoever is working on Sunday would be more diligent about getting the address correct. Thank you.
