Our mail in 22182 was not delivered until almost 9:30 PM last night! I went out to check the box about 9 and it was still empty. Then we finally heard them near 9:30. (Near 7 on Saturday.) This neighborhood has recently experienced checks being stolen out of mailboxes and "repurposed". We certainly don't need mail sitting in boxes overnight, not to mention the bad service. They don't answer the phone and have no way to contact the PostMaster. When should I expect my mail tonight?

I don't know why but this is the SECOND time now that the post office says I've moved and left no address! CLEARLY IM HERE! Please for the love of GOD quit sending my mail back and saying I don't live here. You leave junk mail AND my landlords mail AND SOME OF MY MAIL. Let me decide what I want and don't want NOT YOU. This isn't rocket science. It's your job to DELIVER the mail. Please do it accordingly. THANK YOU.

I have told the post office several times to not deliver our mail to the neighbor’s address. They continue to do so. The neighbor sends our mail back stating “ no one by this name lives here”. We lose our mail in this manner. Also senders believe we have moved or have died. We get the neighbors mail too. So we end up delivering them. Can the post office be more efficient than this? I am ashamed to say I am a fed worker too and the Vienna post office offers the worst customer service!

Mr. T at the Dunn Loring Post Office gives excellent service. The building exterior is rundown and needs some repair but the service you get here (as opposed to Vienna) is worth a little wait. I once deposited an envelope by mistake. Mr. T opened the outside box and sifted through until he found my envelope. He is efficient and courteous. My delivery mailman (Junior) is also courteous and reliable. Congratulations Dunn Loring Post Office and Mr. T!!

I have witnessed time and again how the women at the front desks are rude and condescending to all customers. Many customers are elderly and continue to be polite despite being treated like children. No reason for this kind of treatment, especially during these trying times and they being blessed with steady work. I live 2 blocks away and grew up in this town, it’s upsetting that we have such behavior in this lovely small town. Please address customer service training and I’m sure the reviews will improve.

Apparently I’m in an unwanted battle of wills with my surly mail carrier. We moved in two weeks ago, and both we and the former resident put in successful change of address forms. My carrier refuses to stop delivering the former resident’s mail; I’ve asked him twice nicely to remember that there’s a forwarding address, I’ve put a note on our box... nothing. Today I put two pieces of mail for pickup that we’re delivered yesterday for the old resident with a note that asked that they be forwarded per the change of address request, and the carrier put them BACK in my mailbox. What a lazy human with a terrible attitude. I’m just asking USPS to give the man his mail at his new place, that’s its job!

The tracking indicated that my item was delivered in my mailbox on Monday July 9th. But I cannot find it. The tracking number is 9400111699000665892231. Can you check it? I think postman maybe put it in wrong mailbox. My address is 1601 Leeds Castle Dr Vienna VA22182. Thank you

I should have received two packages One from Bloomingdales: the tracking indicated that it was delivered in my mailbox on Friday sep. 8 The one from JCrew it was supposed to be in my mailbox on Saturday sep. 9. Both those Companies are very serious. I have tracking number that tracks the packages every day, every steps. It's Sunday and my mailbox is EMPTY! I deserve an explanation from the post office. There should be an internal investigation. Those were valuable and expensive purchases and I deserve an answer!

I called the USPS passport number 703-698-6687, got through call center and was greeted by the rudest person I have ever encountered on the phone. She gave me complete nonsense about making an appointment with the Vienna PO. ALSO I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to answer.

I was put on hold for 15 minutes and counting. Very rude customer service. Most of the time I have to look for my package at different suites in our building in Old Courthouse Rd. I'm typing this while I'm on hold...20 minutes and counting!

Delivery man threw the package at my door so hard and damaged the contents (crumpled the sleeve of a new 1968 vintage LP). I work from home so I heard the noise. We've always been polite and courteous to whoever delivers our mail for as long as we've lived here. If you cannot return the courtesy, then at least do not throw our packages at the door so as to risk damage to them. Thank you.

I live on Elmar Drive SE, Vienna, Va. We are constantly having problems with our mail delivery and have not had any delivery since last Thursday 2-9-2017.. I stopped by the Post Office on Lawyers Road and waited for 30 minutes and kept getting put off by one person or the other until I was finally told there was no one available to help me. This is not acceptable and neither is the sloppy delivery. I will go to Regional and also let them know what is happening and how no one will take responsibility for this lack of service. I absolutely need to hear from someone. I will not rest until this issue is resolved. Thank you. B.Bailey

Worst service in the world, deliveryman constantly ignore deliver request, and they come to put the miss-delivery notice in your mailbox while they don't bring the package at all

We got a redelivery notice today 01/17/2017, even though I was home all day and no postal clerk rang the doorbell. Maybe because it was raining, the clerk did not want to deliver, but only left a notice in our mailbox. In order to request redelivery, I went online and entere the tracking number that was written, but there was no record. I tried entering the article number that was on the notice but it also returned no record. So I have no choice but to go to the Post Office to pick up my parcel. I suspect that the postal clerk is not following standard procedures and would like the USPS to be aware of this. The post office in question is Vienna Main Office at 200 Lawyers Rd, NW, Vienna VA 22180-9998. This is not the first time it has happened. I have pictures and am sending a complaint.

We are always getting loads of our neighbors' mail. I wonder how much of our mail our neighbors are receiving. When identity theft is such a problem, this is a concern.

I regularly receive neighbors mail, and sometimes I get mail for people a couple blocks away. I just confirmed that a check written to DMV was never delivered. So my check and my personal identification contained in the envelope have disappeared. Hopefully this ended up in the trash somewhere, I do not like to think about the alternative. Is there a way to submit a complaint? Is there a safer way to get my mail? If I need to mail anything I take it to the Merrifield Post Office. Is there anything we can do about the misdeliveries? I don't like to think about what is being delivered to other peoples mailboxes, or whatever...

POOR POSTAL SERVICE! Few of my packages had been lost before and I had a bad feeling when my seller choose to send my recent package using USPS. And my feelings was right, another package has been lost! I am very disappointed and upset because I waiting for my package for days and finally when the status updated delivered at in/at mailbox, I ran to check and there was NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING in the mailbox. I even checked around my house and didn't find a single package. So i tried to call in and no one answered and I called like multiple times. I would say bad customer service too!

Poor service! I have had one mail delivery in the last 9 days, despite
having our street and mailbox cleared for the last 6 days! I called 4
days ago (Tho and Linda) and was told the mail was backed up, but would
be delivered the next day. No mail. Three Amazon packages have been
delivered by the USPS so their trucks can get to the house. Today I
called, got put on hold for 20 min by Ken (or Kevin) while he checked.
The line went dead and I called again at least 20 times to have it
either busy or ring for 3 minutes and go dead. I then drove to the post
office and after waiting in line asked to pick up my mail. Esther told
me my mail and packages were put on the truck at 6 this morning a would
be delivered today. It is 6:45pm and no mail or packages. Really poor
service, lack of attention to customers, and lies. UNSAT. Time to
privatize postal service and get real service instead of bureaucrats who
are not focused on customers!

Horrible post office. Put me on hold for over thirty minutes and the lady was very rude in her tone. Expect poor service from this post office as this was not my first poor experience.

This was the....worst post office in the U.S.,
our family was on a vacation so we asked to hold the mail, apparently they didn't. We came back and we got a bunch of mail. But then we waited for a package, which didn't come. The USPS said there should be a note that it couldn't be delivered, but there was nothing. So, I drove there and the one guy insulted me that I should know the mail was on hold. I showed him the USPS tracking but he said, that the deliver didn't deliever it and that I should know that the mail was on hold. After 15 minutes of discussion and kind of being insulted I left.
Worst service ever.
And apparently they lost some of our mail and said that is was out fault!

This Post Office has got to be the most inefficient Post Office in the nation.
It is next to impossible to get answers to the most elementary questions. The Postmaster is never available and they never answer the phone.

I have tried to call the Vienna post office three times today. After letting the phone ring for 10 minutes, they never answered. The last time I called the ringing turned to a busy tone after 5 minutes. Is there no wonder why the USPS is losing money hand over fist???

This place has been a nightmare. Terrible customer service. They lost our paperwork for a mailbox lock replacement. Our lock has yet to be replaced. We paid for it over a month ago. When we stopped by to figure out what was going on, they said that we probably paid a different post office because our address isn't serviced by them and that none of their employees would have made this kind of a mistake. A half hour later they found our paperwork (didn't apologize) and said it would be sent to Oakton. We contacted Oakton post office, but they refused to help until Vienna sent them our paperwork and money. They say they don't have it yet. Long story short, we haven't been able to access our mail for over a month and we're out $30.
