They put a Bat in our packages 📦 It was in the house for 4 days and they don’t even apologize. It could give someone rabies. I’m 75 and I was scared they did this to me and they frightened me. Be aware! Just pay the extra money and get UPS or Fed Ex!

Its 6:30pm on June 10. The last time a carrier came through the neighborhood was June 7. This is through the Westhampton Branch of Richmond Post office. If you call the number nobody answers or once in a whole they do and they get very angry for you calling. Go over there and people at the counter know nothing and there is no manager or supervisor available

I had dropped a package off at another Richmond post office and the label on my package ended up on someone else’s package - showing “my package” delivered on the tracking system. USPS routed my case to this post office because they service my zip code - this I believe was a mistake and communicated that several times. Over the course of 8 minutes, I was spoken over, yelled at, and not listened to while on the phone with an employee of this location. Was hung up on while trying to explain the situation for a third time - asking if I could please not be spoken over or interrupted, at this point on the brink of tears due to frustration and complete lack of basic respect. I called back a few minutes later and when I said “I think you just hung up on me” it was returned with “the phone must’ve disconnected”. Later this afternoon, I received an email saying that my case is closed, when in fact it is not. My niece has still not received the package that she sent - she received another persons package with my label on it. I am baffled to learn that this is where managers and supervisors work. I spoke with an employee moments after (at the location where I dropped the package off) who provided me resources that were helpful. She was apologetic on behalf of the USPS that this package mishap happened and very understanding and willing to listen. With so many poor reviews you’d think USPS would take a look at what’s going on at this location. Will be avoiding at all costs.

Attempted to use the self-service mailing in the lobby. The machine CLEARLY said, “This service not currently available.” Stepped inside and asked for assistance and was told, “You’re not doing something right.” I’ve used this service at this location multiple times. The lady at the counter (African American lady with short blonde hair) offered no assistance whatsoever. Not cool.

Not satified with our mail carriers for the past year. It's most always very late coming sometimes as late as 10 pm. Also they often leave mail in chair on front porch instead of mailbox. And some mail doesn't get delivered at all.

I live at 364 Albemarle Avenue and have a mail slot in my front door. Lately, the mail carrier sometimes does not use the mail slot. Instead, my mail is left outside on the front step (exposed to the rain and/or blown around the yard) or like today, partially wedged between the screen door and main door, ripping some of the paper and leaving part of it exposed to the outdoors. This has happened three times in the past week.
