To whom this may concern, my husband and I had a flat tire and was lost on back roads somewhere along the Floyd county Radford area near a road called Indian valley I believe. This is the closest post office the area when I googled if this isn't where she works please pass this along to surrounding post offices. We had a flat tire no phone signal not from the area and hardly any cash on us. April came upon Us and went out of her way above and beyond to help us. She seen that my husband wasn't feeling well we hadn't made it home for his evening meds she gave us snacks and bottled water and went to find a signal. She had a fishing friend of hers bring fix it flat plugs and a portable air compressor I believe he said he had drove 35 minutes he wanted to help her but she refused and told him told him to get back to fixing his boat while there was still daylight time he then pulls out a dummy tire. We try to exchange numbers with them both to pay them back they refused April went on to make him take what cash she had on her. They gave us a good laugh we will never forget April and her fishing friend because they bickered like an old married couple that she would pay him the rest in boat fuel next time they fished!! April changed out the flat she plugged it aired it and put on the dummy tire told us we would least have a backup for little bit to get home. Her first name is all we got and the car description small red hatchback US mail written on the back. I don't want to post our last names and personal numbers on here for the public but will you please tell her to email Donna and Clyde so we can exchange numbers I would love to take her to lunch sometime for appreciation and to thank her once again. Let her know we made it home safe and that we will be sure to pay it forward as she asked. I have a selfie I took with her and my husband if it will help to track her down but I cannot see on here where it will let me post the picture in my comment if need be email me and I will send it.

The Radford usps is a JOKE, have been for years. Never relieve packages when I’m suppose to when I track them. I’ve also had quite a bit of missing mail over the years too that have gotten me into trouble! They never answer the phone and if You get someone they act bothered by you and never call you back with what u ask for. Fair warning. I wish I could switch to Dublin they were so nice there.

In the past two weeks, two (2) postal items have not been delivered - a personal letter from family, and, most recently, medication-by-mail. According to the tracking number, the medication was in Radford last week - now, it appears that it went to Philadelphia, then to Greensboro. It's 4 days late now, which is a problem.

I am not receiving my mail on time. Paper mailed from a road distance of 60 miles from my location is taking 7 days and more. The Radford, VA. Postmaster doesn’t answer the phone.

A friend of mine has not received his letter, even though I sent it via registered mail. It sounds like it was delivered to the wrong address. I want to see the mail redelivered to the correct address.

They never answer the phone. I tried numerous times to schedule an appointment to renew my passport. I finally just went there and they told me I needed to schedule an appointment. I told them I tried calling to schedule but no one answered the phone. They went ahead and took my photo so I could send in with my renewal application, paid the fee and sent certified mail. A few weeks later I received from the Dept of State saying my photo was not acceptable (that the PO took mind you). I am trying to schedule another appointment and again no one answers the darn phone. I have to miss time at work to go to the PO so it would really be nice to know that if I take off I will be able to get my photo retaken.

I continue to have issues with the carriers from the Radford Post Office delivering my mail to the wrong address. I live at 2615 Little Creek Hwy, Dublin which is in Bland County. Every time there is a new carrier or a fill in, my packages are delivered to 2615 Little Creek Rd, Dublin which is in Pulaski County. This has happened more times than I can count. IT IS GETTING VERY OLD. I am getting tired of making calls to the post office to get my packages picked up and redelivered to the CORRECT ADDRESS. Something needs to be done about this ongoing issue.
