Your system STINKS !!! Tried numerous times to contact main post office on Broad Street. Cannot get anyone to answer the phone, nor any way to leave a call back number.

Someone not in our household apparently put in for a mail hold and now instead of putting mail in our box, they keep it. We tried to rectify the problem at the post office and they continue to hold our mail!! Staff are rude to certain ethnicities which seems to the general atmosphere in Portsmouth. Stop hiring racist personnel!

My 2nd time going to the post office during the 12 o clock hour and the post being closed on Crawford street in Portsmoth. The hours show as open 9am to 5pm. No one answers the phone and Amazon packages left on the countertops in the lobby (not safe at all). Tax payers dollars being abused by USPS.

What is the problem with the carriers in the Highland Biltmore area (23702)? I have not been getting any mail, my neighbors are also having the same problems.

None of my mailed bills, or incoming mail arrived in July and August. I have been on phone paying bills again, trying to get my car registration tags that were mailed to me, city parking passes that were mailed to me,, etc. they were all mailed mid July. Do you know where my mail is, it is September 3, 2021.

Haven't successfully received mail since I moved into my new house back in July of 2020. it is Feb 2021. I have posted notes, sent emails, gone up to office MULTIPLE times, spoken with NUMEROUS couriers and still no resolution. Not quite sure what to do next.

Lately the broad street office has been putting my packages either at the wrong address completely or at the wrong apt number this Saturday and today Monday. The one from Saturday was stolen. Why is so hard to go one door over?

Very upset. Postal tracking showed package was delivered to front porch. However, the package was actually delivered two days later. This dishonest tracking caused me to reorder package and report a loss of package. Terrible service. Shameful.

In the last year Broad St. service has been substandard at best. It has force me on-line. After 23 years of service I am ashamed.

I am a retired Quality Improvement Manager Norfolk, VA. I am very disgusted with the service at the Portsmouth, VA facility. My son lives at 139 Kings Gate Dr. and he has had numerous delivery problems. Due to the fact that he and his wife work long hours I tried to assist them by contacting the facility. For a while the problem was corrected: the carriers were not delivering their parcels because there was a For Sale sign on their property and they assumed no one lived there. There are blinds at the windows and they collected any letter mail that was in the box. I am sending this review because a Quality Improvement employee needs to investigate procedures as it relates to delivery. When you attempt to call by telephone you are unable to get through. I mailed a Christmas Card on December 14, from Chesapeake to this address 139 Kings Gate, Portsmouth, VA 23701 and it was returned today stating no such address. I will be glad when they are able to sell their home and leave the city of Portsmouth; however, until then perhaps you would like me to return and help you out!

I Agree with Dolores and " Angry customer" for the past couple hours I have been trying to call not only this post office on broad street but ANY post office in Portsmouth and cant get through to anyone. WTF?!?! Customer service obviously means absolutely nothing to these incompetent workers and it shows that they just simply DONT CARE! This is not the only time I have had trouble getting in contact with them by phone. I hope that some how someone of importance reads this and does something about it. Because even going there in person seems to change nothing..
Very un professional
Very SAD
Concerned Customer..

I can atest to that, I called at 3:30 pm and was put on hold. By 415 pm, I had driven to the location and stood in line to speak to a manager. I showed her my phone now at 45 minutes and she did not care AT ALL! I agree it is completely unacceptable to have to tolerate that sort of blatant disregard for my time. I will be pursuing this complaint at a higher level. My tax money is worth more than that.

It is extremely difficult ,next to impossible, to reach a human being at your Broad Street Portsmouth location. This is the main location. It took me four days to even get a phone call through.I ended up making an appointment in Chesapeake. It is unacceptable that I live and pay taxes in Portsmouth and have to travel to Chesapeake for service. I needed to make a passport apt. Why don't you hire someone ? Even part time help is better than no help/service. By the way, don't blame the lack of service on it being November. I started this maddness back in October! Finally, when I called your 800 number, I stayed on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up.
