I was just in there today. Been going for years. It got to the point where I would cringe when I walked in there. There is a new guy at the front desk. Let me just say that he is a breath of fresh air. He actually cares and will try and help you. The rest of them are in there are worthless I've gone in there the day after a postal rate hike and the attendant won't know anything about it. I've had another attendant tell me the cost of media mail depended on the zone it was going to. Wrong ! A manage in there today was trying to "help" me and he was unaware that eBay had a shipping agreement with them. Amazing ! And there is one lady who I joke about at other post offices about, who is clearly unable to preform her duties in a sane manner. Long past the point of disability. Can you guys at the USPS plainly see that there is a management problem at this office. Everyone else knows.

I just checked the Amazon delivery time for my order and my USPS delivery time for the same order. They should be the same, right? Incorrect. Why does the USPS order say it will be here Wednesday and Amazon say today? The package is in Poquoson so why hasn't it been delivered yet? This post office is terrible and needs to improve in order to compete with literally anyone. I think I could walk to Amazon and get my package faster than the incompetent fools at the post office can. 0/10.

I just witnessed the employees at this post office not help a customer with an easy task, the guy just want to look at his tracking and wonder why his package was being consonantly rerouted. The keep playing games with the guy and asking questions he had no way to answer, instead they created a threatening atmosphere and blames the customer then they had the nerve to make it as if he was threatening them, when the guy said nothing threatening toward them at all. The Postal created the whole scenerio by how the choose to be snappy and rude toward him. They were very rude, and were blaming the customer for their internal routing problems. They use race as a decision as to how they will help you, very racial and fake. Once they think someone has left there front desk it gives them the right to joke and make fun of the person they just screwed over. I witnessed the whole thing to the point they even tried to call the police on the customer. I was in shock that they treated this man that way. I left and when I checked their reviews it all makes since this place is not a very nice staffed location. Just read the reviews it is unbelievable. The guy is a paying customer and they are a business not a dictatorship. What made it worse was the guy was a military member with purple heart recipient license plate. What all that guy gave for this country just to be picked on to that point. The 2 ladies and their manager should be ashamed the lied completely about the man and when he left thought it was great what they did to him.

Yeah, I was in there today. And I felt that I was being threatened. Like the next thing they were going to do was call the police. Was the threatening guy black about 40? Yeah when they don't know something they make it your problem. These people would be gone from 95% of any jobs dealing with the public.

I received a box of children’s books today delivered by a Poquoson postal employee. The box was shoved under the end of a porch bench at the end of my porch where the delivery person had to walk through my mulch instead of walking 3-4 yards further to walk up the steps of the porch and place it at my door. I would have never seen this box until the next time I drove out and back to my home. Most likely being soaked from the rain.

I've lived in this town for about 3 years now and used this location 3 times and each time disappointed. They are slow, rude and spoke to several people with limited to no respect. Additionally, I had a priority package that I was charged $26 because she said the box was too big, how is a 21inch box too big. I don't know this place is a mess and should think about restructuring their employees.

I have been to many post offices, but Cheryl is by far the rudest person I have run across! She rolls her eyes at you, acts as if any questions you ask are a waste of her time, and the last time I went there she was telling people "You'gonna have to wait outside the door. I'll tell you when you can come in". Now, that statement can come across in a few ways, depending on your tone of voice. Cheryl said it in a very abrupt and rude way. I don't know what her deal is but she seems to be having a bad day every time I come in there.

I would really like to commend your employee, I think her name is Cheryl, for the great service I had from her today! I am a new resident of Poquoson, and I have been to the post office a few times since moving here about two months ago. Cheryl assisted me several weeks ago with some packages that needed to be mailed. At the time, I was not aware of the process for service at that post office, And the way in which she communicated the policy to me felt abrupt. I chatted with her a little bit to lighten the mood a little, and it seemed to help, but I will admit that I was a little bit taken aback By the tone that she had used initially. We did end that interaction on a positive note, however, as we chatted and I felt better at the end. Today, I went into the post office needing assistance with a particular type of mailing receipt. Cheryl was very helpful and explained exactly what I needed to complete. She also made pleasant conversation, as there was no one else waiting in the post office to be served. She had a very pleasant tone, and I felt welcome and I greatly appreciated her service! I really appreciate the improvement over my first experience there, and I would like to thank her for her efforts to provide excellent service today and the most recent times that I have been into the post office. Thank you!

I've never had any problems with this post office until yesterday. Usually every person I speak with here is very polite and helpful. Yesterday I received the worst customer service I've ever gotten. Cheryl "helped" me. She was so rude the entire time and she gave the impression that she didn't want to help me. Also, I heard her being impolite to the customer Infront of me asking "are you in a rush?!". When the customer was just asking a question about the time. Cheryl seems lazy and is the most impolite person I've ever came across in the service industry. I'm surprised someone with that kind of attitude is working there. I understand that I may have a lot of questions. Regardless if I'm asking for too much help or not she can at least be polite to the customers. I never will come to this post office again because of her.

Oh, I could not agree more. So frustrating. I don't know, why she is still working there. She seems to absolutely hate the job and the customers, doesn't even look at you when she is taking. Rolls her eyes when you ask a question. Treats customers very condescending. I have been living here for 3 years and I seem to always have the "luck" to have Cheryl "help" me when I get there. Me and my husband, both have avoided going there because of her! She makes you feel like you are a waste of her time, every time I go there.

If you NEED something that is delivered from this post office, and it's important, USE FEDEX! AT LEAST 2 - 3 times a month, we receive the wrong mail and we don't receive ours (Christmas gifts, checks from our bank, etc etc). I don't know if they hire people that are lazy or they don't care, but it's by far the worst post office I've ever been associated with.
