Postal Locations

Very slow and rude staff. If I have to do business at the post office I always go out of my way to the Pembroke post office instead, they're more professional and courteous.

I have recently moved to Pearisburg Va and in a short period of time have had an important payment for my electric bill NOT GET DELIVERED to the electric company and had my electric shut off due to them not getting the payment and there was a large reconnection fee that was totally unnecessary had my payment arrived as it should have - also recently I had another bill mailed TO ME from a water company located in Salem Va and I NEVER RECIEVED that bill, so again was late on a payment- this time due to me not getting the mail delivered to me I had previously lived in Salem VA for years and never had this problem so I am wondering why I am having this issue in Pearisburg- I am now afraid to use the Pearisburg post office but have to because that is now where I live- PLEASE get this issue fixed as I cannot afford for my bills not to get paid due to the post office not doing its job properly

I'm not sure what's happening but this is the second month in a row that I have mailed my mortgage payment and the bank isn't receiving it. In September I handed it to the post master in the Narrows P.O. location, I ended up having to cancel that check and send a second in which I walked in and handed it to them again. This month of October I placed the check into my home mail box in which it was picked up by the carrier and that was on 10/12/16 and I called the bank today 10/21/16 and they still have not received my check.
