Postal Locations

This is BY FAR the worst post office in the entire country. You are lucky if the employees given attention, and even luckier if your parcels enter the mailstream from this location. I have attempted, unsuccessfully, to mail at least a dozen pre-paid packages from this location going to McLean or Tysons addresses only (the same zone). These packages take on average OVER THREE WEEKS to be delivered from this location. It is an embarrassment and abomination that this terrible service persists. Please do everything you can to complain about this specific post office because with more complaints we will see change.

Dear sir, Good evening! Hope all is well in the pandemic. In recent months, several mails were delivered to me with delay. For example, a letter from Social Security office was mailed from Alexanderia, VA on September 20, 2020, and received this afternoon, October 1, 2020. Is there a specific reason to take 11 days to deliver a letter from a place within 24-minute drive? Hello, I have not received any mail in my McLean post office box for the last two weeks, which is highly unusual. To the point where I need to reach out to providers and local utilities to see if bills have been issued so that I can pay electronically versus missing an invoice. Additionally, a birthday card mailed in July to California never reached its destination. I don't know if the issue was McLean, enroute, or Redondo Beach, California. We very much love and respect our local neighborhood mail carrier and have never been disappointed by his service. My concern is what may be happening at the US postal facilities.

You have a service to pick up boxes at my home. Yesterday two boxes were not picked up even though note was on box and mail was left in box. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. LEAVE A NOTE ON MAIL BOX TO SHOW IT IS FOR PICK UP. WHERE IS THE SERVICE?
