Our route in Lyon Village has had NO mail delivery on Dec. 29, 30, 31, Jan. 3, 4, 5, and 6 so far. I have called every day since Dec. 31 and no one ever has answered the phone. I went to the Clarendon post office today in person to co plain, but couldn’t speak to anyone. Tonight I wrote to our congressman, Don Beyer, to report this totally unacceptable situation. We have prescriptions and an expected check (that we know of) not delivered. What the hell has happened to USPS??

Special thank you to staff person at the Post Office 3118 Washington Blvd Arlington VA. She located a Priority Mail envelope that had been damaged in a sorting machine making the street address # unreadable. She brought it to the desk for pickup!

I live on the 200 block of N. Granada Street in Arlington. This street has received shoddy mail delivery in the past but the past few weeks have been unbelievable with no mail deliveries on a number of days to my address and others on the block. When we do see a postal service truck or mail carrier it is well after dark. We leave or porch light on so he/she can find our mail box and there have been three days in the past two weeks with out delivery or mail pick up. What's going on?

I'm really frustrated, order two phones and place the direction of my work to be faster and safer, and the postman never find the right door, each once I check the track number, app says: " no access to delivery location", I really don't understand where he is going, because here where I am is free entry, try to call this office and they never answered the phone, I wanted to inform them, that I could pick up my package in the post office, and never manage to contact them: they are public servants who charge their services, and we have the right to have a dignified service, please employment more staff who respond to the inconvenience and needs that we are living in this city. Or get us a real phone number. Also the employees of the post Office need to pay them well, because so far I've went to several post offices and I haven't had any server public friendly and happy doing their job, the service they provide is lousy. I've went to several post office in Texas, Indiana, California and Georgia and the employments are so kind and friendly, I don't get it why in Arlington or Fairfax this people are so rude! It is a shame for those who visit our city and a frustration for us who live in this area.
