I recently mailed a Priority Mail package to Amherst and it’s delivery was delayed. Unfortunately, I had lost my tracking number, as well. Ms Cabell telephoned to discuss the matter personally. She was very courteous and assured me everything possible would be done to locate my package. Fortunately the package did, in fact, arrive at its destination. What's the point of paying postage for a package to be delivered if this poor excuse of a mail carrier doesn't deliver the packages that won't fit in the mailbox? Just bring it to the door.

Agreed. WORST post office EVER. They continually forward our mail to a different address even though we have filled out the forms, PAID and CALLED 3 times. Unbelievable. Total incompetence.

I agree this is the worst post office ever the mail lady doesnt even attempt to deliver my packages she just leaves a notice saying she tried. I called the post office and the manager had the audacity to tell me they are not obligated to deliver to the house.

Worst Post office ever!!!! My packages are being thrown in my driveway. Our mail has been damaged on numerous occasions. My mail is being left in the mailbox with the flag up. I have complained to no avail. They need a new Post Master at the Amherst Office.Everbody complain here https://www.usps.com/customer-.... Maybe somthing will be done ...

Worst Post office ever!! Our mail person has no respect for anybody. We have called and complained numerous times. The manager absolutely does nothing to address any issues. The incompetence is mind boggling at this location. Our mail is intentionally left in the box with the flag up. The carrier refuses to deliver packages .. We complained now the carrier just throws our packages in the driveway . No plastic cover . 100 $ Of stuff would have been ruined. Since calling and complaining is not effective locally.
