so my trashcan has been cracked wide open after the post man rammed it. when i called the postmaster threatened to stop sending our mail. what makes them think they can act like that? they are civil servants, paid with tax money. they shouldn't have the right to do that over 1 phone call. the police department however was very heplfull. they told me that i only needed to move the can 2 feet and if it is hit again i can sue at that point.

I was due to receive 2 packages today. One arrived and I spoke to the carrier about the second package. He didn't have it and knew nothing about it. One minute later its status changed from "Package is out for delivery." to "Package available for pickup.". It appears that it was located and the carrier didn't want to admit his oversight or return to deliver it. It had to be scanned to change its status.

Funny how you can bang on my door for the mailbox key but you cant answer the phone OR get the mailbox key out of my box. And how many times are you going to give me the wrong key? I cant even get my package it's been over a week I've been waiting.

I believe your post office is taking advantage of senior citizens. Twice my dad has had to go and pay extra for packages being delivered to him that were paid in full. One time I know it was paid in full because I actually did it through usps.com. if it happens again I will be contacting my u.s. Senator and see what he has to say about it.
