I can’t get Mercedes Post office to answer their phone! Calling for hours & never getting someone to pick up the phone is not acceptable.

Very disappointed. I asked for a hold when I went out of town. So I show up with my ID to pick up my mail and they tell me they already delivered on my end date. So I leave and get home and there’s mail. Ok then I’m waiting for a package and they say there’s still a hold. Wtf! Ugh

Worst run post office. The mailman is probably the laziest man in the valley and because it’s a government job they hold no accountability for their employees. DO YOUR JOB RIGHT OR WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE

Even after 12 years of living in the same home my mail keeps going to another address. I also get other people's mail. Sometimes I don't get my bills for months. Doesn't matter if you call the postmaster nothing is ever corrected. I finally had to call the head postmaster in McAllen, TX. Mercedes has gone through 3 different postmasters in my 12 years. Proves to show they are not grateful to have a job.

Post Master is delivering our mail to a totally different address. They need to be more careful. Luckily the recipient called us and we had to pick up our mail. Protech Security Systems - Mercedes

Terrible experience, rude lady! I'm a teacher and get out of work at 4:15, rushed over to post office to pick up family photos that they didn't deliver to my house, they're holding them at post
office, got there at 4:28, and lady at door says- "No sorry, we're closed". After all the rush to get there early, I get kicked out for being there one minute before closing
time. If I had her kid in my class, I know I wouldn't say "sorry kid, I can't read the last page of the book for you, times up." How rude of this employee at the Mercedes post
Office.
