You keep putting a "vacant" sign in my mailbox. The house is not vacant and we need to have our mail delivered. I have lost track of the number of times I have tried to call you directly - the phone rings off the hook, nobody answers and then I am disconnected. Please email me so we can get this problem resolved. Thank you. (a phone number someone answers would be helpful).

can very seldom find a parking place in post office parking lot. So I asked why all the cars in the lot when only 5 or 6 customers inside, there answer is that its employee parking. Paid for by tax payors and customers cant even find a place to park. Pitiful just another govt. waste!

Worst mail service we have ever had! Mail carrier can’t figure out how to get the correct mail to the correct mailbox. Haven’t had a package delivered correctly in 6 months. It’s so bad that we know we won’t get our packages if they come Usps. Have sent in many complaints, with zero response! At least 10 missing packages!! They won’t answer the phone and don’t do anything about mail carriers that don’t know how to do their job!

Is it ok for the mail deliverer to not deliver the mail if a car is parked in the parking spot closest to the mailboxes? He just leaves if a car is in that particular spot. There are 4 other parking spots next to that one he could park in.

So I called Lakeway Post Office, twice and after two minutes of waiting was discontinued. I then called Bee Caves' Post Office and they have an automated answering machine they have five options to choose from which then provides you with numerous choices: None of them pertained thus kept asking for Customer Service to no avail. as did not need technical support. AT least they had an answering service. No choices to inquire why when I went to drop off my mail at the John Simpson mailbox it was full to the top with handfuls of mail sticking out and torn. When I reported it the mail delivery guy from USPS he stated he would not take my mail and that he just put mail in there! REally? Maybe that is why it is so full? Did he not care that yes, he could close the box but when You opened it mail was all over the place making mail not able to go down the shoot. Is not his job to sort mail vs. put it mailboxes? He departed at 12:25 and I have to drive to PAK MAIL and he said he would take my mail. sigh.

What is your current policy for delivery mail to our community? We are an Assisted Living community and our current carrier will only drop the mail off at the front. When I ask to take his temperature so he could come in and deliver the mail to our residents mailbox, he told me that the post office would not allow his temperature to be checked. Let me know your policy. We would like him to deliver the mail to mailboxes using a mask.

My postal carrier is off or sick and the replacement carrier is leaving my packages that are too big to fit in the mail box on top of the mail box stand where it is able to being stolen. My regular carrier always brings large packages to my front porch. Please instruct your carriers to place large packages on the front porch.

I mistakenly used incorrect apartment number on a order. No one lives in that apartment. I had hoped the mail carrier would have noticed the name was for another apartment. I have lived here over 2 years. What happens to the pkg (medium size envelope). The company is resending but used wrong apartment number again. How am I to get the two packages valued $66 each.

Each time I have registered online with USPS for package pick up I receive, in response, a confirmation that the package will be collected the following day. Each day, following a confirmation for pickup email, I get no pick up. So each day I re-register online for the following day's retrieval since the package is still sitting on my porch. After about a week of playing this daily game I get a confirmation that the package has been picked up. But it still is sitting on my front porch. The last confirmation of pick up was just emailed today for this particular package, prompting me to write this review. I am now sitting in my living room looking at the package that USPS has just confirmed has already been picked up from my front porch. It's like the movie "Groundhog Day". The pattern appears to be part of the system. WTH? At least Lakeway USPS is good at something even if it is confusion, unreliable service, lying and chaos. Has our once proud USPS been reduced to a sadly inept and untrustworthy company?

All USPS offices are a mess these days. Employees exposed to Covid, backlogs of mail, and it wasn’t exactly a smooth operating machine before Covid. An overhaul is due. But we will have to wait and see...

Most of my packages that are labeled delivered are not delivered and they something never show up at all-usually they will arrive 2-3 days after it said it was delivered. Multiple pieces of mail missing or left in other people’s mailbox. They need to overhaul this usps and get some reliable employees to do their job properly.

I do not live here in Lakeway but my son does. I have been making masks and my son takes them to work and sells them for me. I mailed a box of 20 masks and after tracking it shows it was delivered in the mailbox n front of his home. he did not receive it. I contacted the post office and they were going t check with the carrier and call me back. He did not call. I waited a week and called him back sitll hadnt checked with carrier. I asked him if he pinged it and I waited on the line while he finally did this. it showed the carrier delivered it to the wrong address. the person I talked to said he had to give the carrier a chance to retrieve it. Well it was delivered July 6th and its now Aug. 4th. where the heck is this carrier that makes it so hard to ask him.???? My son said that their mail was delivered to the neighbors up the street and they brought it down to them. also that the other neighbors mail was put in his box and he took it to them. this has happened SEVERAL TIMES. This Post Office needs to have a meeting and make sure the carriers can READ. The phone rings off the hook ..... Someone needs to go and investigate this place. How many bad reports do you actually need to fix this problem. Fire these slackers and replace with people there that really need a job.

17 years and no lost mail. Then within 1 month of 4/4/2020 lost two letters. One was Mom's birthday card. Another an important bill. One was picked up by the mail carrier. The other (bill) I dropped off at the Lakeway, TX Post Office. I had to go inside because the two drive-thru boxes outside were stuffed and letters/small packages were falling on the ground. I told two workers at the front desk about the blue boxes and they just shrugged. Now I have to stop a check and resend. Crazy!

Mail delivery on 08/10/19 in the afternoon to 209 Phlox Drive. Mail included the standard envelopes and a package that would not fit in the mail box. The delivery person left the package on the top of the mailbox, some 100 feet from the residence, easy access for anyone who might decide to pick it up and take it away. Employees and staff may change, but the services from this (Lakeway) branch continue to be sub-standard. Perception: employees simply don't care.

I had someone else's mail delivered to me (address wasn't even remotely similar). I put the red flag up for the postal worker to pick it up but the flag keeps falling down. I've called several times to ask for the flag to be fixed since it is USPS property, but no one answers the phone.

Here it is, 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 9th, and no mail has been delivered or picked up on our street: Allenwood Drive, Austin, Texas 78734. In my case, a form to be sent to Social Security, with my name, birth date, address and Social Security number has been sitting out there all day. There are people who roam this area, stealing from our mail boxes, so if we do not receive Saturday mail service, it would be nice to have been notified. This lack of daily service is sporatic, and confusing. Of course we could go find a mailbox at some public place, or the Post Office, but we have a mail box right at the end of our driveway that we have been using for the past 30 years, and have found it convenient. Please advise. Jill Allford 15914 Allenwood Drive Austin, Texas 78734

I went inside the post office at 10 am this morning to drop off a package which HAS TO GO OUT TODAY. It is currently 8:15 pm and the package still has not been scanned for departure!!! I know Jill has made numerous complaints to the head of our post office in Austin but I would really like to address this one myself. Jill truly has done enough for our community, spent many hours of her own time. Does anyone know who the contact is downtown? Thank you in advance for your assistance!

They never deliver the mail after a vacation stop is over and I request that it gets delivered to my house. I always have to go to the post office. They never have the mail, because it is on the mail truck, so I have to stand outside my mailbox waiting for the mailman to come. I have to flag him down and get my mail, otherwise he would just never get around to putting my mail in the box. I seriously do not understand that level of stupidity.

I don't know who sorts the mail but I get no less than four missorted items per week and usually more than that. This also includes packages. This has become very annoying and in the future I will just throw all this mail in the trash. Get someone who can do this job correctly.

Unbelieveable! I purchased a fairly delicate piece of electronics. New the device is over $10,000. But I scored a good deal for it used. The seller sent it priority mail through the post office. I needed to stay home for delivery. My carrier pulled up out front and put the other mail in my mailbox...How rude. As she approached the door I opened the door and put my hands out for the package. She tossed it onto the ground, rotating the package 2 or 3 times before it came to a stop. I was shocked. I said you realize you just threw delicate electronic hardware. She returned, looked at the box and said I don't see Fragile on it....Unbelievable

I can't believe the attitudes of these government employees!!! Is it impossible to get fired or what???? Not only are they rude but the facility is not cared for properly. Broken drop box for over a month? Maybe planning on closing this facility soon, dirty building, has anyone ever noticed the exterior rock walls? Disgusting how our beautiful community has such a deteriorating post office

Mail was only delivered ONCE in 5 business days. No pickup or delivery, we had to physically go to the post office to collect our mail. Turns out, they "could not find our building". Have called several times and they will not answer the phone any any time of day. Completely unacceptable.

You put the most important Christmas present and all my medications in the wrong box or put the key in the wrong box and it was taken by someone else.. the delivery mail must not have a grammar school education to do that or just doesn't care. I am disgusted with your service in Falcon Head. Not to mention the poor service at the main office,, You never answer your phone and, it hangs up after the message., when you call back you have to listen to the message again and after 1 minute it hangs up again...

I believe our carrier is lazy as she refuses to get out of her vehicle and hand deliver mail when our office is only 20' from the mailbox. She left a hand written letter stating she would not deliver our mail because access was blocked, which it was not. I have spoken with 3 USPS employees in two days and the matter is still not resolved and our business mail is not being delivered. Very frustrating and time consuming for something that is supposed to be reliable.
