Don’t even bother, wasted time driving an hour here since I had scheduled a passport service. Upon arrival, was told their photo machine was down and that I had to go somewhere else to get the photos.
Left and got photos done but apparently the person doing the passports needed to go to lunch.
Clearly the most professional level of communication I’ve ever seen. Even scheduled the photo service with them and no mention of not being able to do photos.
I've recently moved to Huntsville and started a business out of my home. The postal carrier does not bring mail every day when I know there is mail. I have also had two packages returned to sender that were essential to my business. I have no idea why they were returned and now I have to pay again for them to be shipped! I've been YELLED at by a postal worker while waiting in line to pick up packages that they never attempted to deliver. Everyone in this area hates the USPS and now I know why.
If you don’t receive your check from the IRS your mailman delivered it to someone else box , they are doing people like this and not doing anything about it. They need new ppl at this location it’s sad how they rob ppl
The post office on hwy 30 west is retruning mail to the people who sent it.i never rec'd my jc penney bill for the month of december when i called penneys they said the post office retrun it.that is not right they are making people get behind on their bills.please solve the problem.
Talked today (did not get her name) about why an inmate at the TDCJ Holliday Unit was not getting his mailorder paper subscription. The Publisher has verify that they are sending it. The mail room at Holliday Unit tells me they are not getting ANY subscriptions to this paper. The lady at the Post Office was VERY rude and told me they have no jursdiction over any newspaper. Somebody is a liar in this situation....the publisher, mailroom at TDJC, or the lady at the Post Office. Personally I think it is between the mail room at TDJC and USPS. That lady was big time rude.
Terrible customer service. People wait in line for hours to get their package. Some leave with out their packages. Postal drivers don't even attempt to deliver packages. Don't leave pink slips when unable to deliver packages. The manager specifically is rude and lazy. Making sad excuses anytime something goes wrong. Corporate needs to replace half the employees here. Pathetic.
I appreciate everything you do, your long hours and especially your extended hours during Holidays and the in flux of Amazon to the loads put on deliveries. During this pandemic you are at more risk.
I’ll be negatively impacted if Our ignorant President makes the changes he threatens.

Worst postal experiences in my life! These Lowlifes show up outside my home talking on the phone then after their break take off and my tracked item goes from "out for delivery" to "available for pickup" her fat lazy ass can't get up to deliver mail, sorry for the inconvenience! Then they lose my order of AA big books and deliver 5 of 20 with a sorry note that says "if you don't have a computer to file a claim go to PO; then I go, clerk says " we don't file lost mail requests" and gives me a phone number; I call and wait over a hour and the guy finally comes on and tells me to go to the website; I tell him I have no computer and he instructs me to go to PO. End result is books from Houston TX. To Huntsville TX. Are in a warehouse in Atlanta. Now 3 weeks and nothing from Atlanta! Y'all are scumbags in the first degree! Thieves! 👎
Usps said My mail containing an expensive item would be delivered on 11/13/19 by 230. Here it is 6pm and its not here yet.... I will be filing a report if it's left on my porch or mail box with me being home.
Substitute delivery driver and Ms. Tweedy that answered the phone at the Hwy 30 location, are lazy and do not do their jobs. Ms. Tweedy actually lied to me on the phone and said I could come pick my package up, that should have been left by the delivery driver on July 5th, which would have fit in my mailbox, Ms. Tweedy lied when she said come Saturday and ring the bell and someone will give it to me. She should be fired for making me drive all the way to town and then have to fight to get my package that needed to be cold. The delivery driver was lazy and could have left my small package in the mail box, but instead just probably drove by without stopping as there was no notification at all and no mail that day, which is unusual. These people should lose pay for not doing their jobs. Ms. Tweedy just flat out lied. Cost me money and time to drive to town and ring a bell no one answered. You could hear people working in the back, but no one answered the bell. I finally went around to the back and found the supervisor who gave me my package and we were both very mad when we saw how small it was and could fit easily in the mail box.
Carrier is never on time. Tuesday she came flying down the road late in the afternoon. I had outgoing mail and the flag was up. She was in such a hurry that she put the flag down and shoved my mail in the box along with a package for the next street over. Since she was totally forgot to take my outgoing mail so I had to drop it off at the post office the next day. In August my cousin sent me a package but never received it so September the 20th he sent another well guess what I have not to this day received that package. Yes he has the correct address!
Every since we got a new Postmaster pro temp our services have improved dramatically. Mail now arrives and is posted to our p o boxes by 10:30-11:00 and before it was closer to 12:00-1:00.
Great move and I hope they keep it up.
The Huntsville Post is VERY incapable of their job requirements. The carriers will place mail in the wrong mail boxes. If the carrier thinks no one lives at that location, they will stop delivering mail at that location. I work at a company where one of my jobs requirements was dealing with the mail. At least (if not more) once a month I would have to deal with the post office because of the incapability. They would drop off mail that did not go to that address and the address of the mail was not even close to the company address. When you try to call the local post office it is oh most impossible to get a hold of them.
